SteveVon Lamar has been doing music since the  age of 14 he has been heavily inspired by rappers such as Fabolous, Drake, Tupac, Cassidy, Nas. While growing up in the rough streets of Rochester affectionately known as the Roc he experience tough challenges that caused him to write touching, radical & righteous music being influence by Christian artist such as Da T.R.U.T.H., Lecrae, Andy Mineo & Kirk Franklin. But SteveVon Lamar also known as S Dot    always had a gift to write & do music but it wasn't until he  had heard a song from a local artist name Larry Love who intrigue him to pick up a pen & begin writing. Because he grew up in a Christian home his mom wouldn't allow him to listen to such music because of the explicit language. So S Dot would sneak & listen with his brother to all Love's music after they got home from school, but it was one day that SteveVon Lamar got inspire to write to one of Love's song drowning out Larry Love's lyrics to write his on lyrics, because back in those days he didn't have access to instrumentals like today where you can get on YouTube and have the freedom to do covers & spit to instrumentals like nowadays. S Dot has been fervently working hard to produce his 1st album this year. Look out for one of the most anticipated radical & righteous extraordinary albums of this year.
