Dutch happy hardcore and gabber duo Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo were established underground DJs and producers. They were one of the most popular rave acts in The Netherlands throughout the 90s. After founding Master Maximum Records in 1992, the pair created some of the scenes most recognisable hits. Their biggest success was the magical 'Wonderful Days' which peaked at no. 2 in the Dutch charts and was played at raves all over the UK. 
Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo were anthem machines across a few genres, gaining them a spot in my Hardcore Hall Of Fame. 

There were always more than one great mix on most of their releases which made this harder to put together but here it is.

Hardcore Techno mix

The Metro nightclub in Saltcoats was massive back in the day.  A music policy change in 1996 meant a move away from happy hardcore to house music.  
This mix pays homage to some of the awesome tracks played by Stevie Kerr who took over the decks from the legend Joe Deacon.  I've found no mixes out there of that period, so decided to put this dedication together. Hope it brings back some good memories and excuse the drunken mixes.....oi oi  🙂
