In his Poetics, the Greek philosopher Aristotle put forth the idea the play should imitate a single whole action. "A whole is what has a beginning and middle and end". He split the play into two parts: complication and unravelling.

AN.IĆ0002, separated into two acts, experiments with 'dramatic structure' in the form of a mix composition. Freytag's pyramid of Dramatic structure consists of five parts: Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action and Denouement. Each with clear distinct scenes. 

Storytelling through art is representative of the current zeitgeist, artists present narratives to evoke emotions and capture universal cultural truths and aspirations.
