Легендарні пісні Івасюка, Сильвестрова, Майбороди та Шамо зазвучали в рок-стилі з елементами фолку.

Такий творчий експеримент реалізувала хмельницька група Чумацький Шлях в рамках проєкту «Поза часом», який був ініційований Хмельницьким управлінням культури та туризму за підтримки Українського культурного фонду. Музиканти записали альбом, що складається з переспівів видатних пісень композиторів XX століття. Переважна більшість треків в альбомі склали твори Володимира Івасюка («Нестримна течія», «Запроси мене у сни», «Тільки раз цвіте любов», «Я піду в далекі гори», «Пісня буде поміж нас»). Першою композицією на диску стала пісня Платона Майбороди «Виростеш ти сину», яку Чумацький Шлях трансформував через призму теперішнього часу. Передостаннім треком став переспів твору Ігора Шамо «Три поради». І завершив альбом кавер пісні Валентина Сильвестрова «Прощай світе» на вірш Тараса Шевченка, до запису якого долучився також Хмельницький академічний муніципальний камерний хор. Загалом до платівки увійшло вісім композицій та інтро.

«Всього за три місяці ми створили альбом, що базується на піснях композиторів ХХ століття. На початку проєкту було навіть важко уявити, як можна переграти вибрані твори у рок стилі. Але в процесі роботи, мелодії цих пісень стали гнучкими наче пластилін, і змінюючи гармонії ми отримали дуже концептуальні речі, які дивним чином підкреслили нашу сучасність», — розповів лідер гурту Сергій Строян. 

Разом із гуртом Чумацький Шлях учасниками проєкту стали гурти: «Grace», «Free Jam», дует «Svitlo», а також камерний оркестр Хмельницької обласної філармонії.
 
Мета проєкту «Поза часом» – донести до широкого загалу актуальність та цінність пласту композиторської музики як вагомого культурного надбання  минулого століття, носія української ідентичності, її глибокий сенс та український характер попри радянську комуністичну цензуру. Особливо важливо познайомити з творчістю композиторів молоде покоління, яке, на жаль, ці пісні вважало подекуди народними, часом застарілими і радянськими, у більшості випадків знало не творців, а виконавців. Тож, гуртами  було обрано 8 пісень та вирішено їх аранжувати в своїх улюблених стилях: рок музики, джазу, соул, кантрі, босанова. В ході проєкту створено 4 аудіо альбоми пісенних хітів П.Майбороди, Б.Буєвського, В.Івасюка, В.Михайлюка, В.Сильвестрова, А.Горчинського, І.Поклада, І Шамо, всього – 33 кавер-версії.
