Faraday (ITA) makes his mark on Steyoyoke Black with his latest EP, "Capricorn Rising”, which showcases his ability to create unsettling yet beautiful music. The EP features two original tracks and a remix from Vanita, all of which offer infectious and eerie soundscapes that reflect the sinister and ethereal sounds that Steyoyoke Black is known for.

The title track, "Capricorn Rising”, blends cinematic and picturesque soundscapes with a purposeful structure in the lows, while fluttering persuasive patterns are organized around a wide and noisy hi-hat. "Earth Sign" continues the dystopian vibes introduced by the title track but is decidedly more toolish.
Vanita's remix of "Capricorn Rising" builds slowly, forcing the listener to hang in anticipation while waiting for the climaxes, like waves crashing on your aural senses.

"Capricorn Rising" EP is a heavy yet beautiful, toolish yet intricate, and delicate yet ominous collection of tracks that showcase Faraday's ability to create music brimming with antithesis. His debut on Steyoyoke Black is sure to turn heads and leave a lasting impression.

Beautiful Place

Emma Lemus - Beautiful Place (Proler Remix) [Future Avenue]

Grammik's involvement with electronic music started almost two decades ago. At the age of 15 bought his first vinyls and instantly the question “How is this music made?” made him buy his first computer and start experimenting with sounds in the late 90’s. Born, raised and still based in Athens (Greece) at the age of 18 started spinning vinyls on local bars and small clubs around Athens. 

His first release came out under his real name (Aris Grammenos) on No Border Recs at 2008 and after that a numerous tracks and remixes followed up on labels such as No Border Recs, Sound Of Everything, Proton Limited to name a few. 

The year is 2012 and Aris felt the need to re-create his sound and after 4 years of silence on 2016 his first EP was released, under his current artist name “Grammik”, on Eyes Of The Owl Recs with the title “New Tomorrow” , followed up by a remix on the same label. 

Grammik’s breakthrough comes on the year 2020  by joining the family of the respected  Steyoyoke records by releasing to original tracks
“White Heart” and “Kalopsia” on “Quadrivium” vol. 6.

Grammik's sound keeps the basic dreamy pads and mind-bending arps and melodies but in a more techno oriented sound. Inspired by “everything that can make my mind dream and my heart sing" as he says keeps producing deep and melodic techno tracks. 

He is well known for his built up dj sets that can begin from electronica and finish up to techno.

Music knows no boundaries and at the end as he always mentions: 
“Music is what are feelings would say if they had a voice, so it's better if they have to say a beautiful story”.

Steyoyoke, the ethereal techno label that emerged in 2012, has captivated numerous enthusiasts with its continually expanding roster of exceptional artists. Its recognition as a groundbreaking force in the industry comes as no surprise. The team of skilled DJs and producers affiliated with the label has garnered acclaim from prominent figures within the field, largely due to the label's commitment to producing high-quality music.

Steyoyoke Recordings was established by a group of passionate individuals who share a common vision. Together, they possess the unique ability to curate exceptional music and art. The label has become synonymous with eye-catching cover designs, and more recently, it has introduced its own innovative music genre, 'Ethereal Techno,' propelling both the Steyoyoke sound and brand identity forward.

The essence of Steyoyoke lies in its unwavering dedication to discovering visionary musicians. This ethos anchors the label firmly within the underground music scene, providing an environment conducive to pushing the boundaries of the industry. The label's mission revolves around crafting a nurturing musical journey that truly resonates with the essence of great music. This philosophy is upheld through the label's avant-garde approach and continuous stream of fresh projects. In 2014, Steyoyoke Black emerged from these core beliefs, giving rise to the label's first sub-label and introducing a new avenue that celebrates the resurgence of techno.
