Next up on ICONYC welcome back Italian maestro Christian Bonori in collaboration with Aves Volare with their latest smash 'Another World'. With outstanding releases on labels like Suara, Stil vor Talent, Einmusika, Yoshitoshi and Jannowitz to name a few, the duo has developed a unique style; a dynamic, groovy, deep and hypnotic fusion of genres that perfectly fits in any kind of club or open-air festival. The enigmatic duo has seen a rise to fame thru the regular output of quality productions.

On their return to ICONYC Christian & Aves treat us to the spectacular 'Another World'. A grooving deep, melodic house roller, fusing gentle chord stabs with subtle string ensembles, clinical percussion and that outstanding vocal from Aves Volare. The beautiful driving lead line of 'Another World' pared with Christian's trademark beat manipulation culminates into a club inspired piece of house music for the ages. Adding to our growing list of all-star remixes, we welcome Haze-M who needs no introduction. Haze-M who knows a thing or two when it comes to mind blowing reworks: turned 'Another World' into an irresistible indie house track like only he can by using the original elements on offer with perfection. Haze-M layers more melodies and effects, whilst upping the flow with cleverly programmed percussion and his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the original. Hotly tipped newcomer Yulia Niko joins the Watergate collective, delivering an exciting label debut to mark the occasion.

The Russian-born, Berlin-based artist has piqued the ears of heads with quality releases on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical and her own TochnoTechno imprint. She steps up for Watergate Records with an inspiring maiden EP, augmented by remixes from YokoO and Francesco Mami.

‘Manifesto’ is the intriguing opener, as intergalactic synths rub shoulders with a chugging groove for an ultra-cool finish. ‘Passion’ is heavy on vibes, pairing an enchanting vocal with a colourful bed of percussion. YokoO contributes a subterranean ‘Defragmentation’ remix of ‘Manifesto’ on the minimal tip, before adding some warmth to the palette teaming up with Francesco Mami for a ‘Vegas Mix’ primed for the afterhours with its deep grooves and shuffling beats. ‘Hurts So Slow’ reinforces Niko’s versatility, imbuing a dusty house vibe primed for late night sessions.

Modeplex adds a magnificent debut album to the list of incredible releases by Steyoyoke. “Days of Change” features 6 original tracks and a remix by Morttagua. The EP fulfills your mind with its uplifting and dark tunes. A melange infused with emotions and melodies to soothe your soul.

The first track, “Metanoia”, presents a dark and powerful soundscape; a combination that takes you towards ecstasy. Next, “Earth” is a mix of harmonies accompanied by dark elements giving the right amount of magic to heal and dance. “Earth” was also remixed by Morttagua, turning the track into an even deeper atmosphere, pulsating with breathtaking beats. “Days of Change”, raw and heavy, is a trip towards the stars where dreams come to life. “I Miss You”, brings you towards the softer side yet emotionally fulfilling, showcasing peaceful and longing qualities with the added vocals. Next up, “Magnetic Field” is a mysterious journey, liberating with its fierce beats; a definite tuneful experience. German producer LEPPIN returns within the Manual label family after some time of absence. This time he's not alone but he teams up with Amy Baile for this EP's title track, the massive and intense 'Rushed'. A full on melodic techno banger! Yöurr takes care of remix duties by transforming 'Rushed' into an eerie slow moving indie dance cut. Very classy and very cool this one.

On the flip side LEPPIN goes solo and delights us with 'Wallride'. A proper infectious climactic dance floor mover. And as if that's not enough you've got Frank Sonic & Larsun Hesh on board, giving 'Wallride' their very own interpretation.

A pretty intense release this one. Showing once again the versatility of the long running Dutch Manual Music imprint.
