3 QUESTIONS to JONAS SAALBACH:

Q: Talking about your mix. What do these tracks mean to you? How did they shape your career? 

A: To mix „How I Met The Bass“ was a super cool session and truly a flashback to 10 years ago, when I started to listen to electronic music. After I spent so much time with funky beats and the whole Hip Hop culture. For sure the tracks mean a lot to me as they were inspiring and laid to the foundation for my music career. 

Q: I´ve heard there is a new album coming up. Tell us more! 

A: Yes! I worked hard on my second long player ‚Perspective' the last couple of months and I´m happy about the result. It´s a ten tracker and will be release on my homebase label Einmusika Recordings 27th of March on CD and digital format. I would say it´s a well balanced mixture between electronica, melodic club tracks and hypnotic deep house grooves. 

Q: According to your b2b-Live-Act with Einmusik – are there any common releases planned? 

A: We did not plan studio sessions yet, as Samuel (Einmusik) is also working on a new album. But we will extend the back to back live session and combine our two new long players. I love this project and we will have a couple of cool gigs coming up in 2017 in places like Dubai, Cairo and Beirut.

Costantino and Casper aka Meastral, first met at school in the south of France, aged just 11 years old and began producing together at 14. A little older but still young, the very talented producers had their first release with us in April this year. "Solitudine" is an opening bomb for peaktime sets with a catchy, deep and powerful melody. "Miljo", the second track they released on our imprint two month ago was a good follow up track and they demonstrate their skills. We  invited Meastral to make a mixtape for our series. It is a very melodic and deep mix with pregnant basslines, they also showed in their tracks. So we are very happy to have them with us, thanks to Meastral. Enjoy listening to their exclusive set for Parquet Mixtape Series.
