During his first trip to Black Rock City Qdup performed a special hip-hop showcase at Funky Town and invited MC’s to rock his set and bring the cypher to the desert. San Francisco b-girl and Hip-Hop aficionado Awoke was one of the MC’s that appeared out of the dust and blessed the mic that afternoon and caught the ears of the crowd, inspiring this collaboration. “Sonic Drop” captures the fun of that impromptu Hip-Hop jam in the desert. This tune pops and locks from start to finish, with an infectious vibe that invites the party to get down on the dancefloor like Awoke and Qdup did that day!

Happy Basscoast packing! Longwalkshortdock Sort of DJ's at Recovery Room 2017. Its more like playing some music than DJing but...I just found this recording and had fun listening to it so here you go. There's a few errors in it and some jamming wankery etc, but its a live recording from a very casual environment. I left all the mistakes in cause this was only my 2nd time trying something like this, but you know what? I'm so tired of having to have shit be perfect so it can be posted... Wheres the human element? Super perfect "live" recording are fucking boring and mostly fake. So its not flawless, so what im not flawless I'm not editing shit. haha Anyway, uploaded in 2 parts in all its near 6 hour glory. I was basically paid in beer so things get a little loose with the person stories toward the end but, whatever, I'm posting this cause, fuck it why not, its fun.... and relax... its just music....
