Over the course of two decades, Andrew Cole aka Luv*Jam has carved a unique niche as a tastemaker of the highest regard not only with his effort as a selector but as a conservator of vinyl culture.  As a selector, Luv*Jam has graced booths and stages far and wide including Fabric - London, Tresor - Berlin, and Space – Ibiza (which he was a resident of for nearly 12 years) among an otherwise absurd assortment of venues  that span across the world’s finest clubbing and festival institutions.

As a shepherd of vinyl culture, Cole is the proprietor of four vinyl labels that delve into a space where enthusiasts seek and ultimately collect individually numbered/stamped vinyl records featuring unique artwork that sell in limited quantities. These records feature some of the most timeless pieces of music we have come across over any medium and we celebrate these efforts as true labors of love. SoundPark invited Cole to sling together an audio tale that journeys through three decades of Luv*Jam’s secret nippers from the past, present, and future that spans across four hours of music. Returning after L.B. Produce’s last year’s offering, Ron Obvious ‘Reseda Drive-In‘, Phrased strike back and heavy with ‘Positive Centre‘, from which we're glad to premiere the breaks-charged 'Our Minds Partition' today. Superimposing chiselled drum sequences and deep, aqueous UK style bass accents upon an idyllic outback shimmering with iridescent pads and tenuous percs, Phrased deliver yet another magnificent slab of snug house beats packed with sun heat and nostalgia.

Stoking the coals in the boiler room is Hot Coffee, a Richmond based producer who fires up "On the Verge" for his vinyl debut. The aggressive and furiously anthemic tune pushes the EP past rough seas and sails us safely through the night.

Malmö’s own and FH fave, Sune steps in for Better Listen’s tenth release, continuing a run of sweet Scandinavian finds for the label. The Butter Love EP is a true reflection of the Crime City man’s sound; packed front to flip with playful, dusty yet ever soulful samples, adorned by heady drum machine programming.

'Do You Even' is so very Sune. If you have not yet had the joys of the Swede's back catalogue passing through your ears and consciousness, you won't be aware of the mans ability of transforming a sample into an entity so sweet, butter really wouldn't melt. This cut does exactly that. Pathways between neurones of sun and the dance, further fused by Sune's sultry tones.

C. Scott is an MPC virtuoso who first started producing in 2009, inspired by the hypnotic, jazz-influenced sound of hip-hop¿s golden era. Having refined his craft, he jumped head first into Pittsburgh¿s music community, maintaining a strong presence in the hip-hop and dance music scenes. After his 2016 debut release on Lumberjacks in Hell, this is Charlie's return to vinyl with a seven track EP with a range of tempos and vibes. The EP includes a remix from LA DJ/Producer Aaron Paar, who is 1/2 of the legendary Teflon Dons.
