This one’s entirely produced by me.
Like back in the day the way it used to be.

In the 80s I had no equipment.
Just me and my boombox
with a tape deck.
Low tech recording onto cassette. 

I would fool around
and record rhymes.
Old school hip hop
like it was showtime.

In my house with my sister and friends.
Tons of fun. That homespun funk.

Haha, yea, take it Elle!

This is his musical journey.
Producing and emceeing.
Way back in the 80s.
Planted a hip hop seed.
Cozmo with his true stories.

Took a couple years of piano lessons.
As a kid, my expression progression.
Came in handy as I got older.
My own backing tracks on my synthesizer.

When I could no longer play hoops.
Left a void in my life.
Didn’t know what to do.

Wham!
Picked up the saxophone
and joined the highschool band.

That was junior year
and by senior year
I was the first chair.

Played my sax in the college band.
2 years later, dropped it after that.
But gained yea, that musical knowledge.
Mu mu mu musical knowledge.

90s wanted to write my own songs.
Thompson vocal eliminator, yea.
First purchased gear.

With a crude set up,
recorded onto cassette.
Then the Tascam 4 track.
Then the Tascam 24 track.

Created every track from scratch
And rapped over that that that.

This is his musical journey.
Producing and emceeing.
Way back in the 80s.
Planted a hip hop seed.
Cozmo with his true stories.

Made a demo and met a producer.
Jack Saturn took an interest in my music.
In his studio for free
recorded two tracks with studio musicians.

First time I ever saw a DAW.
Said I gotta get me that.
Went home and downloaded Reaper.
Then my homespun funk got swiggidy sweeter.

Started posting my tracks on Soundcloud.
Meeting collaborators all over the world.
Met my hip hop brothers Down Under.
