Im back, finally with something im quite Proud of!
Had a little bit of a block but throwing samples back and forth with a close friend of mine finally got me back into music.

Then one night i woke up in a cold sweat and all i could think about were these damn cicadas from Evangelion.
Here we are now, hope you like it!

So i had the incredible idea to make a beat out of mostly stuff that lay around in my room, this meant recording and cutting in Ableton then switching to FL there i made the drums, back into ableton editing plus finishing touches.

Voice Sample at the beginning is from Pulp Fiction the Royale with Cheese conversation, all credit goes to Quentin Tarantino.

 I have the soundtrack on vinyl and thought this would give it a nice touch.

Runspace

So I sampled the Kalimba that I got as a Spanish souvenir from my girlfriend, then I thought of the melody from Amelie of Montmartre and build the rest of this beat on top of it. When I was finished the beat reminded me of travelling around a circle, which you will surely notice if you put it on repeat. The Earth is similar since if you travel far enough into the West you will be back where you started.
