Amiga 8 bit 4 channel song tracked in AHX tracker.
One of my three entries for Scenecompos #32 - AHX Compo at scenemusic.net - Placed 7.

2014 was in many ways a sort of reincarnation-year in the scene for me. I have never made as many songs since 1998 :) so the song title symbolises a new phase.
The song is a kind of gloomy, melodious tune with harmonies, with an overused chord progression :)

Took quite some time to do .. About 200 separate tracks and 173 orders (for those who are into AHX) .. It didn't turn out entirely as I envisaged. Complex song, and a lot of layered guitars, strings and whatnot that is difficult to reproduce in only 4 channels.. Should have had a few more channels to play around with. I might do a HivelyTracker version of it sometime in the future..

Iron Maiden has always been one of my favourite bands, but this song was painful to cover as I aimed as getting it as close as I could to the original. It took a few hours :)

Number Of The Beast - Amiga Chip Cover - Original by Iron Maiden (2014) .mod

"Piglet" was my contribution for Chiperia #2 released by The Chiperia Project, composed during January/February 2015. 

Originally supposed to be on issue #1, but was not finished in time. The song was composed during two different spells, where the "happy" part was composed first, and the more not-so-happy part (from 1:40 and onwards) was composed late february. I pictured a small piglet running around while composing the song, hence the name (strange for sure), but it got a certain happy feel to it :)

Kind of a slow-paced blues tune filled with some blues cliches with a C64 twist to it ;) .. Actually finished about a year ago but kept in the drawer for Chip Chop to be released..

Panda Blues (2014) .mod

My entry for the Oldskool Music competition at Revision 2015. 
Aimed for catchiness, following the "AHX pop style" from "Smooth Talker", but it also has a kind of "untz" factor to it (at least it did on the party speakers :)

Composed pretty much in a hurry during March/April. The final touches were done on the train from Frankfurt to Saarbrücken and at Revision 2015..

My entry for the Tracked music competition at Revision 2015 made with MilkyTracker.

My aim was to make this sound like a playful jam session (hence the name Marmelade (Jam). I spent quite some time working on this song, starting in february, and finishing it at Revision. My XM skills are a little bit rusty (first XM i finish for many years).

I had just gotten back from Revision 2015 in Saarbrücken, Germany while composing this song, being on sick leave from work due to an overstrained shoulder.&#13;

The title of the song is a reference to my work as an IT consultant, an occupation that is very lonely at times. You are essentially on the outside even though being on the inside at the place you are working at, so you feel kind of like an outcast.&#13;

The song consists of three parts. A slow-paced gloomy introduction is followed by a chaotic fast-paced guitar inspired middle section, and is rounded off with a melancholic end part.&#13;

The Lonely Consultant (2015) .mod

We are all of a sudden expecting our third (boy) child. Caught us a bit by surprise to say it the least .. Also there are uncertainties regarding work having been between consultancy assignments, and there are also a lot of obligations going on atm.. Everything seems to be in limbo at the moment.

This song was made inspired by these events, and were my entry for Chiperia #4 by the Chiperia Project.

In Limbo (2015) .mod

Amiga 4 channel chiptune cover of the famous Norwegian christmas carol "Julekveldsvisa" (Christmas Eve Song) that I made pre-christmas 2015, originally made by Alf Prøysen (lyrics) and Arnljot Høyland (melody), released for the first time in 1951 in the christmas edition of the family magazine "Magasinet for alle" (The Magazine for Everyone)

This song is amongst the most well-known Norwegian christmas carols, and essential listening for all Norwegians over the christmas period. I have fond memories of this song from my early childhood, and it was an easy pick when asked to cover a christmas song for the Chiperia Christmas Edition 2015.

I started this cover late november, and finished it december 18th. I tried to apply some different techniques for the chords for variation since the melody itself is rather short and consists of six verses

This song is also my first official release since joining iNSANE as a double member

Computer musician with roots in the Amiga scene, with also a strong liking/influence to C64. Associated with Rebels, Desire and iNSANE.

Most of my work thru the years is made with Tracker-software (ProTracker, AHX on the Amiga, and FastTracker II, MilkyTracker, Renoise on the PC), but I've also started playing around using FL Studio and HivelyTracker, and will post some of this sooner or later.
