Calling upon the Sunshine after a long winter. First SMMR Soul set of the SZN at the Uncommon Stage in the Boston Commons. Always in ode to the late great Roy Ayer. Starting slowly, I take the people on a journey through R&B, Soul, and acid hip-hop melodies. I then kick into the next gear with some galactic, soulful house vibes, rounding out the set with classic dancefloor funk and line dance tunes. Be sure to listen through the whole set, there are some gems, blends, and edits that I'm sure you will appreciate.

An all-original set by New England's own, NVNO, a world-renowned Hip-Hop dance music producer and veteran freestyle dancer. 

Groove Punch is a home-made sweet hibiscus iced tea crafted by Ummi and King Be and branded to celebrate the pulse of local creative communities. We kicked off the SMMR of 2025 with a three-part series in collaboration with Beats on the Beach, the Bridgeside Cypher, BAMS Fest, 10k Movement, and the JOAT festival in MTL. The series included live beat maker seats, a mini battle installation, open mic cyphers, vendors, games, and giveaways, all culminating into an SMMR Beat tape for performers Rilla Force, NVNO, and DJ SC-ONE.
