May 30. Nightmare interrupted by the alarm set at 1:30am I was too hungover/still drunk to get up I tried sleeping through it but I said fuck it. My gut is getting heavy from the constant drinking stomach hanging out bloated. Its destroying my figure. fuck. the room is so hot my head’s drenched in sweat that I cannot work the electric shaver so I went to the bathroom and took a 5 second shower dried my head and shaved it. I cant find a bottle to put water in to take with me so I took last night’s 700ml vodka bottle and used it. boo’s awake watching me the whole time the way someone eyes a pet that has gone rabid. I took a shower and joined her in bed stroked her pussy and sucked a nipple my casio says its 2:48 enough time for a quickie. 2:58 I put on my pants, boots and after a peck on her cheek went out. I didn’t have to wait long for the bus. The aircon is set just right and it felt good I closed my eyes to Haydn's cello on the earphones. This must be the sixth time im coming over Grandioso’s house to redo the voice for it and it has finally started to dawn on me what a shitty “singer” I am. Finally hehe. Even G is getting frustrated with going through all the trouble to retake. I finished the flask as G hit record put on my red sunglasses and pretended I was Astrud Gilberto. “every square mile of the wasteland…”

this is a way different version from the one that appears on the forthcoming Stigmatics II. here you'll only hear the basic tracks and I.V.'s drunken muttering sans Grandioso's swirling magnificent orchestration stripped down rough fucked up vulnerable and naked but with an ugly beauty all its own.

BOGUS BULLSHIT WRITE UP:

STIGMATICS AND A NEW SUB-GENRE: METHOD SINGING

SLEEPING GIRL, the new Stigs obra, is a retelling of Sleeping Beauty set in a post-apocalyptic “burning world” where society lives “under glass” and Prince Charming is Prince Fuck Up singing to an unresponsive Sleeping Girl who’s been in a drug-induced coma since 1989.
Two things immediately grab at you listening to this gem. First is the haunting beauty of Grandioso’s bittersweet orchestration that is immaculate and delicate in its dreaminess only hinting at an undercurrent of great sadness that brings to mind filmscores of green tinted tragic love stories and triumphant happy endings, the kind that excited hopeful brand new couples want played at their wedding. Or their funeral.
The second is I.V. Derail’s obviously wasted vocals which he recorded after consuming a whole bottle of Gilbey’s Vodka straight off the bottle, no chaser that stands in stark contrast with Grandioso’s magnificent score. That’s method acting for you or “method singing”, a suffering for your art that is sadly lacking in today’s synthetic poseur music that would put a grin on Mickey Rourke’s plastic surgeryed mug. He slurs his lines and mispronounces everything and in many instances even omits whole syllables from the words of the song as in “leeping girl” (he only managed to completely say “sleeping girl” once in the entirety of the song). He delivers his lines half-snarled, half-sobbed in quiet almost whispered confessional resignation, rage-on-ice, or as comrade Jenny Kretzschmar describes it, “like FRIED ANGER” that is too believably suicidal and beaten, “impressively morose” lovely Maria Tortia remarks, that it can only be true. While the words were poorly spoken, their emotions and heart and guts and tears and shit and sex and blood were fully and clearly expressed and to great effect. Everyhting is conveyed in I.V.’s fucked up rendition that no seven octave prima dona can duplicate.
At the end of the song "living in a world inside yourself while I'm leaving mine behind" I.V.'s vocals gets abruptly cut off in the middle of the word "behind" as if he just jumped off a building while Grandioso picks it up and cranks the sweet recurrent riff to make the pain bearable.
