What are the world's greatest accidental inventions? Penicillin, X-ray and... bubbling! The catchy genre - developed in the '90s after DJ Moortje mistakenly played a dancehall record at a faster tempo - has turned into a club music with an energy hard to resist, honed by the likes of Chuckie or De Schuurman. Now, London's Club Yeke puts spotlight on two names from the new wave of bubbling champions, Styn and DJ Rtje, who used old-school drum kits to create 'Bobblesaus', a collection of frenetic tracks adhering to genre's principles with added flavours ranging from Surinamese kawina music to jungle and grime.

2 bubbling tracks i made somewhere last year as a tribute to 2 Bubbling songs i used to listen to back in 2008.

'BEBE BUBBLING' sampling a laughing baby, an ode to the track 'Laughing Baby Bubbling Remix'. A song that was shared to an 11 year old me via Bluetooth back in 2008, on the schoolyard of my high school.

'HARDBODY' samples the drums from 'Coolie dance riddim'.
This is a nod to the infamous ''Tik tak Bubbling'' track, which also samples these drums.

From deep, Coki-style basslines to razor-sharp Bubbling percussion, each track pushes the genre into new territory. The EP consists of five cuts that deliver hard-hitting drums and vibrant energy, primed for dancefloors. Tying up the release, Scratcha DVA and Aleisha Lee’s R&G remix seals 'Hazes' as a milestone in Bubbling’s evolution.
