Fullbarr’s new Various Artist LP see’s the labels first release for 2014. Using familiar artists from the back catalogue alongside some new signings and a home grown collaboration makes for a versatile compilation. The collaboration come’s from label favourite Hans Berg with vocalist Lionclub. Curated by label head Arthur Barr, the two spent the week in the studio whilst Hans was over from Sweeden, and one of the tracks will be featuring on the compilation. Ahead of his forthcoming vinyl EP, Andy Ash puts forward a tough, untitled track for the compilation. A debut for the label comes from Amsterdams; Nachtbraker, fresh from releases on Detroit Swindles Heist imprint (out in March this year) alongside Apparel Music the Dutchman offers up two sterling tracks for the compilation. Nachtbraker will also be releasing a full EP for Fullbarr in the coming months. Appearance’s also feature from label mainstays Le Jockey and Jan Tenner as well as calling on some local talent with debuts from Ste Waite, Thomas TMS Midgely and louche’s Josh Tweek.
