Time to turn to chapter six of the session with Melbourne menace Amir and Sydney sesh head MVCE!

We still remember when Amir came out with his 'Dance on Cocaine' track and much like the song his done nothing but take big steps in the club ever since. From headlining weekly across Melbourne to making the dust dance at Earthcore no one can stop this guy from invading your ears and taking your body hostage as he plays his opening track. 

As for MVCE, the man has made the costal go postal and is well underway of breaking into Melbourne with usbs as boltcutters. Making his mark throughout the city MVCE has brought the beach to us with scorching tracks that are sure to make waves. 

So lets get the beers in the fridge and sound system hooked up and present these deck damagers straight from the session live to your living room!

But Johnny Canik vs Zac DePetro may just take the cake. For the next edition of our Saturday Sessions, we put these two legends head to head for a score settling two hours.

Johnny Canik

Since his last set at the studio, Johnny has become a session favourite from pre-drinks to kick-ons across the country. If you think you haven't heard of the man yet, you've definitely heard his tracks being laid down around Melbourne faster than the Metro Tunnel project. 
Signed by the illustrious Milkfed Agency, the man holds no bars behind the decks with heavy hitters that cause them shivers. No need to bring a jumper though, as each track is followed up by the fire you desire.

In the other corner, we have Zac DePetro. A Melbourne heavyweight that has remained timeless over the ever changing scene he dwells in. Zac's broke headlines more times than Trump over the years and has proved his worth creating fusion sets of techno, minimal and progressive trance that keep the dance floor guessing with anticipation. 
Seeing that his supported some of the best internationals around, it's about time we support him.

But his work doesn’t stop there, Cooper has been on the forefront of the Melbourne scene transforming his hours in the studio into show stopping sonnets of the sesh.

His jouney through music has lead him to a limitless style of electronic music that although is influenced by his international favourites, still captures the essence of the city he resides in. Melbourne.

When we first started out our aim was to showcase Melbourne's plethora of Underground Electronic music.

But over time we realised we have only just scratched the soil.  
So to further our mission we have introduced Sessions Support, a new addition to our catalogue that shines a light on the array of local artists that are implementing new and old traditions to set the scene.
 
First up we have FreeJ, a minimal maestro that has displayed his dynamic drops across leading Melbourne institutions over the years and received international support from legends such as Daniel Portman, DoubKore & Corner. 
FreeJ's talent of capturing the underground essence makes it all the more easier to have him as our first feature on the series.

Much like Still in Session, Division 1 was formed to birth enriching experiences through music, art & technology.

This one hour mix highlights the leading Techno of today taking you on a journey through dark clubs to the open airs of international festivals indulging in the heavy bass groove that keeps the genre's heart pumping.

Sessions Support - Division 1

After her recording at Saturday Sessions was compromised, Holly-J has now provided us with an epic re-recording live from the infamous Tramp Mercy. 

Originally from Wanganui, New Zealand, Holly-J catapulted onto the Australian music scene in 2008 and hasn't looked back since. During this time Holly-J has produced and played almost every musical genre known, earning a strong reputation by constantly delivering fun, raging sets filled with her vocal edits and remixes, and has proven time and time again to possess skills to switch effortlessly between genres, getting the crowd heaving every time she hits the decks.
