Manchester electro-goth solo artist Still Forever releases Flesh Market, the first single from her upcoming third studio album, Synæsthetic. 

Bringing a tighter, louder, and altogether poppier feel into what has already become her signature sound, Flesh Market is an earworming anthem dealing with darker themes.


Extracting influences from sources as varied as Massive Attack, Bauhaus, Linea Aspera and Fever Ray, Still Forever distils inspiration into her own unique sound, driven by a relentless urge to experiment, advance, evolve. 

Elements of eighties post-punk, electro-indie, synthesised soundscape and modern gothic intertwine beneath atmospheric, bipolar vocals. 

Speaking about the single, Amy says “after Holocene, I wanted to produce something with more energy, and so many of the tracks on Synæsthetic have a much more beat driven feel to them. Flesh Market deals loosely with the challenges of being female in a male driven industry, and the ways in which women are objectified and belittled, quite often simply because ‘that’s how it’s always been’, and treated in ways that men generally aren’t.”

Out on November 27th, the single will release with exclusive additional content including a remix of the title track by Yorkshire’s ‘qveer glitch vvitches’ Pastelence, and an extra track featuring spoken word vocals from artist and writer Carlie Martece.
