After living and breathing electronic music for almost 30 years it seems logical that Martin Landsky's productions have gained a quality you hear and feel. Still it should not be taken for granted since it requires hard work, determination and lots of endurance. Martin Landsky however embodies all these attributes and consequently joined the DJ and producer premier league a long time ago already. 

Since this year we are proud to welcome Martin to our artist rooster. With his new "Treat Me Bad" banger he finally makes his EP debut on Still Hot and proves his "all in" aspiration yet again.

The title track "Treat Me Bad" is an impressive demonstration of how striking electronic music can be when elaborate percussion and sound quality come together. Massively powerful and just as smart "Treat Me Bad" promises to have a salient impact on international dancefloors. 

With Gorge we are glad to have another heavyweight on board who gave "Treat Me bad" a looser and more spherical vibe, however just as danceable as the original.

The b-side "Blown Fuse" deserves its title and will not only set every single UK dancefloor on fire with its hypnotic pad sound and the space-filling bassline underpinned with beats à la Landsky.

We can also recommend you to give his "Being Me EP" on Pokerflat as well as his remix for Oliver Schories or Niko Schwind a listen. Martin is keeping himself busy as usual!

By taking an overview of what labels “Gorge” has already released on, including Diynamic, Systematic, Gruuv and just recently Hot Since 82's Knee Deep in Sound imprint and even the labels he’s hosted himself, gives you a great impression of the league of artist we talking about here. 
Ludwigshafen-based Gorge aka Pit Waldmann, classically trained in the piano as well as the drums, co-runner of the legendary imprint 8bit Records alongside Nick Curly and founder of the highly successful - Re:Fresh Your Mind label, and now making his debut EP on Still Hot. 

The title track "Alaris" stands out in the tradition of Gorge's uncompromising quality of music and will definitely stick in your ears. It features a dreamy arpeggiator lead sound worked in with its consistent flowing and deep encouraging vibe, which is implemented so well.

The B-side is titled 'Depth Of Silence' is perfectly appropriate and also contradictory at the same time. The track hypnotically makes you lose yourself in the depth and weight of Gorge's unique production sound. However whilst it’s hypnotic and emotive, it’s still a very driving and highly danceable choice of sounds. The silence shall be broken immediately when listening to both amazing tracks. 

We're very pleased to welcome back our man - Benny Grauer - with another remix. Benny never takes his remix duties for granted but rather translates the track diligently, persuasively to a darker and slightly more staggering interpretation of "Depth Of Silence". 

Look out for more bangers to come from our new Still Hot family member – Gorge - who keeps building his great reputation as a DJ as well as a producer around the globe.

Benny Grauer, co-founder of Still Hot and blessed with a touch for great music, be it as a DJ or producer, is back with his very own "Organ Trip" EP including a remix by Mihai Popoviciu. And what a banger it is!

The A-side "Organ Trip" is a driving beast of a tune. As the title implies you'll be taken on a trip that sucks you in from the first bar and spits you out after 7 1/2 minutes, exhausted but thrilled as hell. If you think an organ sound won't cause any impact on the dancefoor anymore Benny will teach you better. Surrounded in a gloomy atmosphere and based on an endlessly rolling beat the organ lead sound builts up a downright trippy vibe that hits the nail on the head just perfectly.

Mihai Popoviciu, the personification of a steady quality output for years and years succeeds in creating a meaningful and absolutely relevant remix of "Organ Trip" that bears the imprint of our respected friend yet again.

Thankfully Benny finishes his EP not with a filler but with a relatively withdrawn beauty that impresses with its deepness and hypnotic continuity. "Lost Boy" deserves to really be listened to so you might understand its subtle but vigorous message.

Benny, oh Benny... thanks for this excellent contribution yet again! We're looking forward to this gentleman's future endeavors.

Markus Homm is not the barker, although simply this guy's build is already impressive. Unlike many other artists nowadays, whose success is based on staging and sham, Markus is one of those authentic characters who observe in the background and only come to the fore when there is quality involved. And well, this Markus' productions are always based on quality especially when it comes to his secret groove recipe that causes a severe urge to dance when listening to his tunes.

We're proud to have Markus back on Still Hot with his new "Don't Know Why" EP. The eponymous a-side banger is a promising summer groove monster which has an unrestrained drive that only holds its breath for a very short but all the more dreamy break before the journey continues. 

Undoubtly the second track "Horizon" proves Markus' sophisticated composing as well as production skills: elaborate percussion elements meet a determined lead theme and are relined by a severely grooving bottom end. Less is more in perfection, Mr. Homm!

It's Guido Schneider who succeeds in giving "Horizon" a meaningful and incredibly smart interpretation. After the first two rounds of groove lectures by Professor Homm, it's on Professor Schneider to show his mad skills: Puristic, raw but still to the point, smart and cool to the bone Guido's remix is an aesthetic enjoyment for any for audiophile.

We absolutely "Don't Know Why" this could not become a hot contender for this summer's top EPs. Enjoy.

Virtuoso and dancefloor zealot Mihai Popoviciu is back with his first solo release on Still Hot. Once again we get invited to his world of subtle and sophisticated sound design. 

The name giving A-side 'Sushi Cat' bursts with coolness and understatement. The airy beat and cunningly arranged bassline build the foundation of this puristic groove monster. 

'Dub Hot' comes round the corner just as cool as its bigger brother but offers an almost hypnotic lead sound that patiently floats through the panorama. Supported by an unobstrusive but yet hunting tapestry of sound 'Dubhot' quickly drifts off into darker realms. 

We're happy to welcome back Alex Flatner who flexed his muscles to give 'Dub Hot' quite a facelift as we know it from him. Flatner succeeds in taking 'Dub Hot' in a rougher, more techno- ish direction with quite a massive portion of acid which enriches this great EP with even more artistic versatility and vigorous effect. 

With 'Austral', a dreamy and once again super autonomous dancefloor beauty that will make you push the repeat button of your sound system immediately, Popoviciu closes this EP with pure class... as if we could have expected it otherwise from him. 

Spoilt by our Romanian producer production skills yet again we'll close this press release by humbly saying 'Thank you, Mihai!'

Markus Homm is back on Still Hot and once again proves impressively that he is a guarantor for deep groovy dance floor tunes.

The title track “Pleasure” gets a hypnotic note from an Arpeggio building up in the background, paired with a distinctive drum groove that goes straight into the legs. 
The female vocal, which gives the track a certain recognizability, also picked up by label boss Benny Grauer for his version of “Pleasure”. The Arpeggio reduced and equipped with a striking bassline, he gives the track a technoid touch.

The second original track "Golden Horizon" is way darker than the title track. The almost mystical sounds are accompanied by a crunchy bass drum and surely made for a lot of fun on the afterhour.
Vinyl fans can already look forward to the third original track "Dakar", which will be available only on vinyl.
