Whilst he may be a fresh name to some, Russian producer Maksim Dark has already impressed the likes of Dubfire and Richie Hawtin with his fearless, groovy brand of techno, and the SCI+TEC boss has already tempted us with an early introduction to the ACIDSTAGE Ep via his recent Boiler Room set. 

Staying true to his name, Maksim Dark, our latest debutant has delivered 4 tracks of shadowy minimal goodness, each featuring the artist on demonic vocal duties. From the driving synth groove and white noise washes of ‘Bassewiser’ and the stripped bare, linear sounds of ‘Coneblower’ to the bubbling and yet biting sounds of title track ‘Acid Stage’ and sci-fi squeals and ominous chords of closing number ‘Harpsichord’, we’re given the perfect introduction to this exciting young artist.

Having already laid out the groundwork as a compilation that means serious dancefloor business, the third installment of No Filler Just Killer comes with a fresh scoop of five original tracks that will amp up your club game. 

First in rank is Oliver Koletzki, firing up proceedings with “The Heartless”, an energy packed piece rimmed with pulsating synths. The resolute bassline sets a dark ambient, while its low pitched vocals give the cut a raw techno dungeon feel. Electro veteran Asem Shama signs the second track, a relentless dance-inducing groove that kicks in from the first beat. Constructing a subtle build up, held up by clusters of glitchy motives, Magic’s Gonna Happen descends into a lingering, abrupt finale. Babylon Angels starts off deceivingly atmospheric, with a laid back approach and neutral vocals, only to dive immediately into a percussive dance frenzy. Aptly timed claves and clangs intertwine with the vocal sample, swaying the focus off the bassline at times and making way for a powerful break.

As the name suggests, Space of choice by newcomer Dabu Davout leads us into a cavernous land of ample sounds, reverbs and echoed vocals. The twisted melody morphs into a percussion driven groove at first, only to switch into a highly infectious synth-laden rave sequence leading up to a grandiose, hands-in-the-sky peak point. 

Ferdinand Dreyssig’s stripped down Amnesie triggers off slowly but surely, only to amount to a thumping powerhouse banger. Warped leads and contorted stabs add to the spiralling groove, adding an uplifting dimension to its preceding layers.

We are happy to tell you that our next release will be a compilation with five tracks from excellent artists on board with the perfect name 'The Variety Of The Mind'. For this first V.A. release we could win no one less than Piemont, fran&co, Hermanez, Matchy & Bott and Andlee & Kollektiv KlangGut.
With track number one of our compilation, 'Alive', Piemont deliver a tech house bomb just as ex-pected. The two guys create a fantastic build-up and let it explode afterwards. Everything is accom-panied by groovy arp sequences and flying vocal pieces.
When the bassline of 'Shah Parvaz' by fran&co comes in, it just makes you get up and dance. Short-ly after an intense break with hypnotic vocals comes in and creates tension. A captivating synth se-quence accompanies the track and finally oriental flute sounds come in, turning this piece into some-thing really unique.
'Mutation' by Hermanez gives us different percussive sounds swirling around the room. Additional-ly, a shuffling 16th beat and modulating synth sounds make this wonderfully spacy track sound very alive and energetic.
Matchy & Bott bring in the 'Luvvibe', starting with a forward-driven bassline, powerful snares, claps and shakers. A short female vocal sequence with a lot of space marks the central element of this beautiful melancholic composition.
The track name 'So Strong' is right on the spot for the contribution of Andlee & Kollektiv KlangGut. A bass which is housy and dark at the same time and a hypnotic vocal turn this music piece into a real dance floor killer. Forward-pushing hi-hats coming in in the middle making it even more driving and ravy.

Anyone who’s encountered Christopher Kah’s sounds over the years will know all too well that he’s a multi-talented multi-instrumentalist. 
A true innovator in his field, Kah is a man who takes great pride in ensuring his music is presented in a truly unique format. 
His latest endeavour is RE: SOURCE, a concept where “every track” he explains, “is created with minimum resources”. 
This all comes to light quite brilliantly via his latest, RE: SOURCE 01. Featuring four original tracks, the release also comes backed by four individual videos which demonstrate the producer’s grand knack for live production.

Kicking off matters is the sounds of ‘Blade’. 
Like much of this EP, it’s produced using the Roland TR-8S in conjunction with another of his weapons of choice, the Elektron Digitakt. 
A grandiose and foreboding track with shades of UR at its core, this is trippy techno of the type often emitted from the genre’s godfathers straight out of Detroit.

‘Machine’ is a raw, minimal cut that’s laced with acid from the get-go. Full of muffled vocal patterns, it’s a thoroughly uncompromising spectacle that never lets its guard down for a moment. 
A hypnotic track that’s most definitely suited to peak-time pastures, it’s sure to decimate any dancefloor its let loose on. 
‘Extent’ is next up. A track that ups the ante even further, it’s characterised by its big room capabilities and dramatic overtones. 
Like much of Kah’s best work, it’s not one for the faint of heart, and has already proved a highlight of the French producer’s much-loved live sets.

Culminating the release is the sounds of ‘Warcry’. A gnarly track that’s notable for its restless sheen, it’s full of tantalising claps, snares and a heaving, chugging vibe that ensures the release signs out amongst a general feeling of euphoria. 
A truly captivating release, Kah’s latest is sure to find favour with in-the-know techno heads especially.

With 10 years of prolifically releasing bangers on the likes of Riot Recordings and Kraftek Recordings, the Rome based DJ and producer Frankyeffe returns to Oliver Huntemann’s Senso Sounds. The three tracks on the Maximizer EP are tough techno with an attitude - perfectly aligned with Senso’s aesthetic. 

The title track 'Maximizer' is a prime example - a lean and muscular work out tailored for big rooms and warehouses. 'Conditions' has elements that hark back to the hardcore sound of the 90s, yet with a slick, contemporaty edge that makes it an essential listen for DJs and dancers on a harder tip. 'Red Alert' is stripped back and weaponised to the max - firing percussion interacts with a thick, low kick and ravey basslines and synths.
