Black Rose's thirteen EP comes from emerging talent Dario Gismondi, and is truly a melodic masterpiece. He provided four great originals and we're sure they'll hit you on first listen.

The first track is the title track of the EP and is called “Atlantis”.
it is a journey that begins with an hypnotic arp and a solid bass line, and then continue with ethereal breaks that precede explosions of enerygies and melodies.

Second one is “Kraken” and carries a darker mood. This track combines heavy kick and techno drums with strong and very well designed synths and all works towards one impressive moment, where it all bursts apart.

The next song is “Oblio” and represents the perfect balance of the style of this EP, bright melodies and decisive rhythms take you on a mystical and pleasant journey.

The final track of this collection is “Shadows In The Dark” a real gem. It starts with a progressive intro and then comes the main synth witch is a rare example of original sound design.
This piece of music gives an impactful ending to the “Atlantis” EP.

About the release
For the 89th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital, Barcelona based duo Far Distance returns to the label with a debut EP of technique and talent in "Hyperspace / Stardust".
A production duo with a rich musical heritage, Peio Rios & Danny Murphy have courted considerable success on esteemed labels such as Toolroom, Highway Records, and Mercurial Tones, supported by an elite list that includes Solomun, Carl Cox, Joris Voorn, Nora En Pure, and Richie Hawtin. Deciding to cement their partnership with the Far Distance moniker, the Spanish pair created a data stream between their homes in Bilbao and Barcelona with impressive results after a debut on their own label Rocked in 2014. Their collaboration with Stefan Addo titled "Worm Hole" in April 2021 marked the pair's first appearance on Perspectives. 
"Stardust" continues the melodic storytelling of its partner track "Hyperspace" as a running bassline and driving beat create a framework for a shimmering motif to filter in and out of sonic range. Evolving with ease, spine-tingling chord changes and club-friendly snare rolls create a powerful sonic force that is sure to find favor with leading A-list DJs across the summer festival circuit.

At the helm of Stil vor Talent's newest split transmission are two geographically opposed production units, Collective States and The Journey, respectively hailing from the UK and Australia. Reunited through their shared attraction towards empirically rich dance-floor experiences and ambitious big-room buildups, both outfits have been hammering out an ubiquitous sonic imprint, prodding just as much at functional floor-busting service as it cuts open widescreen vistas for spacious contemplation and further off-kilter, genre-unbound divagations.

Collective States strike first with two joints tapping in a similar seam; breaking the EP in, “Chemical Reaction” a collaboration with female duo Pablo:Rita that reels out as a proper warehouse-oriented epic - steeped in an effervescing bath of Moroder-esque bass surges, neck-snapping breaks and swelling prog motifs. Then comes the even nervier “Resurrection”, a hard-hitting comber of retro-futuristic, dark wave-laced frenzy, sure to take dance floors by storm. Nightly to the core, darbukkahs and stealth sonar bleeps blazing under the sign of stroboscopic absolution. 

Dwelling the flip are two slices of slo-cooked, Afro funk-infused deep house by Melburnian duo, The Journey. The original mix of “Winter” lets the drums do the talk, hi-hats and snares beating a feverish tempo as iridescent pads scud over untamed beds of smoking bass and shamanic incantations billowing out in the Aether. A vibrantly immersive tableau to carefreely wander in, interspersed with lush webs of rainforest field recordings, kalimba notes and poignant tribal chants, Bebetta’s reshape eventually guides us out for a much emotional ride, from exhilarating heights down the wilder recesses of uncharted mystic territories.

This edition is comprised of 4 highly texturized and varied approaches to the storied label’s ethos. Monarke, Basil O’Glue & Nomas return to the imprint along side a mysteriously talented new comer, Faminski.

The EP commences with Monarke’s bright and alluring piece entitled “Stallion”. It sets the galloping and hopeful tone of the release. Chock-full of wistful vocal chops and a hypnotic main lead, this track will have you lost in time. Next up, we have the return of Basil O’Glue & Nomas by means of “Immersive Excess”. The juxtaposed uplifting melody and tension rising pads leave the listener on pins and needles hopeful for a calming resolve. The final two compositions, “Chemistry” and “Skyhook” are the works of a surreptitious Ukrainian artist known by the alias Faminksi. “Chemistry” is led by its hopeful and airy sequence which is nicely balanced by a cryptic and rather esoteric plucky stab. “Skyhook” concludes this arcane journey with a bouncy and hopeful lead sequence allowing the release to come full circle.

This transcendent collection of music by some of the industry’s most forward thinking artists exemplifies the type of musicality lost in time but needed most in the industry today. “Quadrivium” is yet another taste of Steyoyoke’s innate understanding cerebral electronic music. We hope you enjoy.
