Title track Bagkat summons a tribal excursion into South African rhythms, dialing into a rhythmic mysticism by layering exotic percussions and nostalgic vocals. And impending sense of tension and release stirs up a constant excitement, a sonic trait that transcends onto the second cut. 

Yenboo strikes out as an inherently heady, intense slice, with a bubbling energy and sweeping drive. Indigenous elements are omnipresent, soothing yet stirring in an array of harmonic invocation.

A bit sad message here, still things happen to end and start again and that's all about life circles. So here is the last EP of our talent FREE.D who is developing now to someone bigger and genre breaking musician already having released the new album as Ka Fu with pretty much attention from the wider audience. Anyway, FREE.D was crafting his skills almost 4 years with us and this EP is a certain point of genuinely done quality sound: super dense and danceable with accurate mind scratching details and some huge deepness after breakdowns. Definitely super strong point in FREE.D bio and this is the end and the beginning of something more powerful at the same time. We are sad and happy wishing FREE.D a wonderful journey. Milan born DJ and producer Ivory brings his eclectic mix of sounds and styles to a standout debut EP on Connected in early 2020.
This exciting artist first started in music by playing the guitar in several bands, performing punk rock, psychedelia, post core and folk. In parallel to live music he developed an interest in electronic sounds and club culture, eventually leading him to become a DJ and producer. Now he mixes up analog synths, positive melodies and strong African rhythms on labels like Skatcity, Azzur Frau Blau and Isolate.

Says Ivory about the release, "The relation between art and who makes it, the artist, is something really strong and definitely devoted," he says. The art pushes an artist to do something for love, to stay loyal with his grace, the miracle of translating our inner essence into something you can show and share. The ‘Your Grace EP’ is about this, devotion, passion and art. "

Excellently moving opener 'Your Grace' sets a mournful tone thanks to the sombre lead synth smears and deep, introspective drums. The hypnotic 'Things We Do For Love' is more edgy, with a busy lead and warm drums run through with thundering claps and loose percussion designed to make you move, it's a slow burning but enthralling track. 'The Pack Survives' then explores more cosmic and melody grooves, with celestial keys and rolling drums sinking you into a gorgeous musical reverie. Closer 'Madena' ft Auggie is brightly lit with tense chord sequences and rumbling, tribal drums, it's filled with a sense of drama and makes for another perfect house music adventure.

Daniel Rateuke takes safari to the streets with 'Dami', a bouncy, percussion led track. Jungly ethno-vocals are souped up with deep, rolling bass lines, steadily reaching altitude before laying it down with cleverly layered, precipitous drops. 

'Patu’ is a tribeadelic peak-time offering, displaying intricately percussive ponderings. Video game-esque accents meld with mysterious, organic sounding instrumentation: this is where the Congo meets the club.
