We’re back in the capital with the 9th installment of the “Stil vor Talent Berlin” compilation series, which brings forth a group of old and new faces exclusively contributing tracks, gathered under the umbrella of one of Berlin's few remaining autonomous housing projects.

The legendary Köpi, located at 137 Köpenicker Straße in Mitte, is a building complex that has become a symbol for the city's leftwing community since it was first squatted in 1990. Over the years it was legalised and has become a safespace for alternative lifestyles and autonomous viewpoints, welcoming socialists, anarchists, queers and musicians alike. Controversial to some, essential to others: Köpi symbolises the tensions inherently at play in the city since the fall of the Berlin Wall and rise of squatting. 

As always, music is the common denominator here and Oliver Koletzki delivers the perfect soundtrack with this new release, while Chrisse Kunst renders the visuals.

'With the outmost pleasure we welcome on our label 3 fantastic artists. Vincent Marlice was raised between Hamburg, New York and Santiago de Chile. Currently based in Berlin, Vincent Marlice now focuses on polishing his distinctive sound, producing tracks that combine the hypnotic rhythms of the local club scene with his wide array of musical abilities as a singer and songwriter. Since his arrival in Berlin, he has published on labels like Kamai, Dantze, Obenmusik and many more.

His sound has been described as 'detailed, melancholic but haunting straight forward techno' and as a 'hypnotic, dreamy, sinister but energetic.

We are amazed to be able to release his fantastic EP called 'The Accolade' featuring 2 brilliant remixes of Robin Schellenberg and Max Joni.'

The first EP on PUNKT PUNKT KOMMA STRICH is called "Initium" and has been created by the founders of the Crew Solique, Avant and Vintash. Creating a musical journey from the beginning to the end the Crew takes the listener on an emotional ride.

Solique start the journey by delivering the first track called Venice. The track is characterized by their well-known deep and driving groove, combined with melancholic synths, which are untypical for Solique but create an unprecedented tension.

Avant continues the journey with the second track Engrave. The sound of Avant is defined by deep basses, combined with melodic textures. The memorable baseline in combination with the cutting lead sound result in an engraving energy discharge.

The end of the journey is marked by the distinctive sound of Vintash. Well known for his progressive synths, Vintash combines a deep bass with distorted analog synth sounds, creating a lean but yet powerful track, completing the first journey.
