► BIO:

Emerging on the global electronic scene in late 2019, the Far&High project has made a big impact on today's Indie Dance scene from its first tracks. Solomun not only released the project's first release on his label Diynamic, but also named them subsequently as one of the most important electronic projects of their country. 

All of the tracks released by Far&High made it to the Beatport top-100, which allowed the project to hit the Best Sellers category 4 years in a row starting in 2020. The lead track from their first release on Diynamic, Alone, stayed in the top for over two years in a row. In late 2022, Far&High releases their track, Sans Vetements, which instantly climbs to the very top of Beatport and remains at the top even in 2024. The lead track from their second release on Diynamic Mannequin stayed in the chart for over 210 days, while their collab track with Brigado Crew - 7 - for the album on the Stil Vor Talent label - stayed at the top for over 320 consecutive days.

Each of their tracks is a new challenge and a desire to show a slightly different sound, different from what has been done before, while keeping the recognizable imprint of the author. This has always given Far&High a huge support not only among ordinary listeners but also from professionals and very famous DJs.

[D!SCO D!SCO SERIES 001] - Podcast M.D.H. by Far&High

Kicking off 2024 with his first A Tribe Called Kotori EP of the year, label boss Oliver Koletzki returns pedal to the metal. Titled 'La Hora de Mosquitos', this new colossus of a two-tracker treats us to an epic whirlwind of rolling techno and hypnotic house laced with a solid bit of 80s guitar solos. Ready to take any stadium by storm, the title-track hybridizes Koletzki's signature heavy-duty four-to-the-floor approach with a tang of Santana-esque Latin rock, glamour yet pensive, packing an equal amount of punch and cinematic dreaminess - which would honestly not feel out of place in a Michael Mann feature. Mixing the tried-and-tested Chicago-style shuffle with a cutting-edge sound design and that tang of opaque, nightly ambience a la Miami Vice, Koletzki serves up a wistful pumper of a tune that, all nostalgic it is, doesn't dwell the past. An understated weapon that starts off as a metronomic puncher but slowly hatches into a big-room-ready electrifier, 'Satya' merges the finest of Italo's steadfast flowrate with a string-laden buildup that gets all the more muscular as bars unfold, gently blurring the lines between space-discoid funk and a somewhat pop and trance-infused attitude. Meteoric material inbound, brace for impact.

First part of the precursor 12”-EP to Mr Raoul K’s new album, which will be released in autumn 2024. The afro house pioneer has returned to his home country Côte d'Ivoire. Raoul K: “Since I know how good and easy it is to live in my home country of Côte d'Ivoire, I drew a line in Germany and set off.” So he’s back in full effect with spiritual afro-tinged gems, catching the vibe and easier living there, and discovered Sidney Simila, a new voice from Kenya.
