Low Light Currents is a five-track journey through motion, stillness, and atmosphere. Built around downtempo rhythms, deep bass textures, and subtle organic elements, the EP explores what happens beneath the surface when the pace slows and attention sharpens.

Each track moves with restraint rather than force — pulses instead of peaks — allowing space for detail, reflection, and flow. Warm low-end, airy synth layers, and distant melodic fragments create a sense of nighttime movement: quiet streets, long drives, and moments where time feels suspended.

The EP is designed for late-night listening, focused work, and immersive background environments, where emotion is present but never overstated. Low Light Currents doesn’t demand attention — it earns it gradually, unfolding as a continuous experience rather than a collection of singles.

This is atmospheric electronic music shaped by contrast: weight and light, motion and calm, clarity and haze — drifting forward, just below the surface.

Fideles and Kellerkind cross paths into a split EP consisting of six original tracks showcasing their individual yet complemental production styles.

Haptic’s murmuring vocals are at the center of Vitamins, a playful exploration of fluid atmospherics.  A clanging bassline provides the backdrop for whirlwinding synths, as the vocals build up an enveloping, dance-inducing tension. Wave Echoes kicks in lively from the get go: a relentless, steady percussion tied into a wandering baseline are the constant mainstays. The melody slowly develops as a fuzzy wandering pad adds another dimension, equally spacious as it is heavy.

Carving light with synth sweeps and spacious reverb, Illumino takes shape as a deep tech introspection. Accented with whirring bits and maintaining an elated undertone, it effectively embodies the ever-ascending, never-releasing groove that’s perfect for peak time hours.

Kellerkind steps up to the plate with Subzero, a slice of cavernous dub tech. Breathy vocals and sparse ethereal elements set a dreamy mood. Underlined by smooth piano chords, the vocal develops into a full fledged hymn that is both emotive and mesmerising. For his second take, the Swiss producer embarks on a techno tinged journey. Opting for distorted synths and a stomping bassline, he aptly crafts a near dungeon-like atmosphere only sweetened by a lush female vocal. Teaming up with Sven, they offer up Shakti Pan, a meeting point between tribal infused percussion and deep-set riffs. Hollowed out drums and bells chimes touch on chorus vocals and manage to create a highly immersive experience, rounding off the release on an uplifting note.

'Following his successful Collider EP last year on Yoshitoshi along with his remix of Luzon's classic 'Manila Sunrise', Khainz is back and this time with a bag full of gems. We're delighted to announce the Swiss wunderkind will be releasing his third artist album (and first since 2012), Fingerprint, on Yoshitoshi in June of 2019. From this upcoming album we have extracted the Reflect EP; a teaser that features three of the album tracks, each representing Khainz's production range and studio wizardry. 

We kick things off with Next, a perfect intro track that sets the stage for the energy to come. The track begins with slow and heavenly synthesizers, teasing listeners for a while with fluttery melodies before dropping into one of Khainz's signature, stomping grooves. Beautiful phrases continue throughout, making Next the kind of track that makes dancers close their eyes and feel every moment.'
