About the Ep:
Following it’s relaunch, Perplex!’s second release comes from Greek producer Thodoris Triantafillou this April featuring three moving house cuts entitled ‘WE’.
Launched back in 2008, Boot Slap’s Perplex! has been releasing a solid body of house music for over a decade. Joining the label now is Athens-based producer Thodoris Triantafillou, who has seen a steady flow of releases on labels like Dennis Ferrer and André Hommen’s Objektivity, CJ Jeff’s Rhythmetic, Connaisseur Recordings and his very own Glory Hill Studio.
The release opens with the tantalizing notes of ‘WE (Club Mix)’ as looping synths join enchanting vocals, making way for the Original Mix that reimagines the melodies, complementing the Dekard’s angelic voice whilst generating a compelling groove. Finally, ‘Angels & Demons’

A favorited track among many acts in the deep house music scene, MIICHII's "Stay" makes its comeback with a variety of carefully crafted musical interpretations.

The first 3 tracks are remixes by talented German producers: Madmotormiquel, Florian Rietze and Daniel Rateuke. Each song offers different perspectives on "Stay." The variations can be described as complex, thick sounding, dark, and well balanced productions.

In addition to the remixes, MIICHII has created an alternate version of his original work which shows a more sensitive and musical side of this talented Colombian producer.

After Qubica's first strike with their 'Idoru EP', which was released on Engrave Ltd in November 2018, the duo, consisting of Italian artists Enrico and Giovanni, readies its second EP, 'Stratos'. The four tracker musically takes up what the duo started last year, synth-oriented approaches with a penchant for melodical dance floor takes. Without praising 'Laud', the third cut on the EP too much, it's probably the most complexly arranged track on 'Stratos' with multilayered echoing and varying synth-chords fading in and out before a guitar-seeming lead-melody accompanied by funky soundscapes occur and evoke a Mediterranean overall vibe that, to sum it up, make the track a pleasant sound experience on and off the dance floor. 

Qubica's EP 'Stratos' will be released on Multinotes May 13th, 2019.

Starting off the journey with a steady groove, both 'Sultan' and 'Iniko' are engrossing, flexible rollers - the first one bouncing along a relentless bassline, while the latter leaps around a lush, grandiose drop. 'Kismet' stands on large, siren-like pads with ample micro-breakdowns that keep things interesting, while the energetic melody shaper 'Luar' is the perfect weapon to amp up the ambience, whether the night has just begun or is in full swing. On the flip side, 'Olappa' and 'Mapono' channel tribal percussion in a more stripped-back style of composition, where wind instrument chops and ethnic vocal chants take centre stage and add a warm touch.
