Opener firøye sets a relaxed tone with its ruminating ambiance consisting of airy pads, while dissonant synths elevate the track to a more intricate tier.

Brooding atmospheres await on ‘short days & long nights’, the second track of the lot. Taking the melodic expedition one layer deeper into mood-set grooves, it instills suspense and anticipation for the second half of the release.

‘Dew’ comes as a culmination of the simmering arrangements from the first few cuts, building up to the EP’s apex. ‘Midgard’, on the flipside, offers a resolute last track in the shape of a steady bassline accented with wistful piano pads.
