Das zweite Release des noch jungen Labels @delightsearthly steht in den Startlöchern. Um kulturelle und vielfältige Musik zu veröffentlichen, haben sich die Macher für eine EP des Kanadiers @kora-musique, der bereits auf Kindisch publizierte, entschieden. Am 16. Januar 2017 soll seine Deep-House-Kollektion „Fragile“ in digitaler Version erscheinen. Gleich der Opener der EP, „Vayu“, ist ein wunderschön strukturiertes Werk geworden, das von einer melodischen Wärme überschwemmt wird. Kora zeigt mit der Produktion eine gewisse Leichtigkeit und eine zarte Annäherung an Drums, während arabischer Gesang die Nummer abrundet. (...) Ein Remix kommt von @timur-sardarov alias Timujin. Danish artist Be Svendsen combines once more with the Crosstown Rebels crew, following on from his emphatic NU 'Man O To' remix, which landed in late February. The latest collaboration comes in the form of the new 'Twilight in Tankwa' EP, it comes with two original cuts as well as a remix from Berlin native Nico Stojan. Lasse Bruhn Svendsen ,as he's known to his friends and family, has been a proponent of refreshing electronic music since his emergence in 2014 and the work he started continues with yet another special record. The title track is a slow-winding groover that's coated with intricate melodic touches, while an engrossing atmosphere rotates around a punchy drum ensemble. Be Svendsen gets set to release the enchanting Twilight in Tankwa on Rebellion following his successful remix of NU’s Man O To on sister label Crosstown Rebels. Remix treatment comes courtesy of Berlin native Nico Stojan. 
 
Twilight in Tankwa is a mystical and musical journey that Be Svendsen explains “is the result of decades long intimate relationship with outdoor rhythmic dance experience. The foundation of the track is rooted in a synth hook from the early 50's. The vocal, inspired by a barbershop quartet, work to give it the character of a true desert hymn."
 
The remix comes from Nico Stojan who twists a fresh melody into the original over driving undertones. Having honed his musical style as resident at the infamous Bar25 in Berlin, he has also released on labels like Highgrade, Connaisseur and Upon You records.
 
Equally alluring, second original track Scarecrow was brought about by AYAWAKE who wrote and recorded the vocals. He generously passed on to Be who honored it as the crown work of his cowboy-tech-tribute to the Ennio Morricone soundtracks of the late 60's. 
Be Svendsen aka Lasse Bruhn Svendsen broke through into the international scene in 2014 with a series of productions and enchanting live performances at some of the most avant garde places to play on the earth, such as BOOM festival, Fusion, Burning Man, Symbiosis, Rainbow Serpent and AfrikaBurn.

Steady Rock just so happened to be at the festival and heard his track being played, and the next day he ran into Claude at one of the many Campout activities and told him that was his song. Claude signed it right there, and now here it is for you.

With the title Kasra, a name signifying ‘king’ or ‘ruler’ in the Persian language, Sam gives a nod to his Egyptian influences, whose sonorous traits can easily be picked up on all of the three original tracks included.

The centrepiece of the release, Kasra, unfolds as a dynamic composition ridden with sonic glints, whether it’s sudden vocal chops or exotic instrument reverberations. The tribal-infused vocals give it a luscious gloss, while the uplifting synth lead pushes the tension to the breaking point.

Following in the same sensuous vein, but taking off on its own terms, Senorita grips onto a main vocal lead, whose soft howls add a nostalgic dimension to its buzzing synth backbone.

Dystopia goes beyond a sonic exploration and summons an entire realm with its integral dreamy esthetic. Rolling out nimble percussion and hazy synths, it’s an overall euphoria-inducing track filled with catchy piano loops.

Atish is responsible for the Kasra remix, providing an upbeat and more functional alternative to the original. The initial tribal vocal loop is subdued and minimized, while theatrical synths take the spotlight, ensuring a release finale on a compelling note.
