I Promised Mom’s (@ipromisedmom) remix of “Psychedelic Safari” by @thelostboysza & @gurt_music is a meticulously sculpted exploration into the deeper edges of indie dance and electronica, fusing tribal undercurrents with a dreamlike, surrealist touch. The remix retains the hypnotic essence of the original but pivots toward a more cerebral and abstract direction—something that feels just as fit for an art installation as for a sunrise set at a boutique festival.

The track opens with percussive patterns that feel primal and ceremonial, evoking a sense of motion through untamed terrain. Ethereal synth swells drift in like mirages, while organic textures—possibly field recordings or cleverly manipulated samples—add a tactile, earthy presence that anchors the composition.
