Teenage Mutants returns to Stil vor Talent with the aid of Kruse & Nuernberg to showcase the classicistic stroke of genius ‘Love Ain’t Free’. Here, instantly recognisable house-signifiers pay homage to the 90s New Jersey sound that is currently experiencing a revival. While a pumping garage Beat adds sufficient swing, a vivid chord arrangement lifts the mood to ecstasy. The icing on the cake comes in the form of soulful diva-vocals by Isis Salam that will catapult you straight to the heaving dance-floor of the infamous Zanzibar. 	

The remixes of ‘Love Ain’t Free’ paint two contrasting pictures. While Jiggler beds the original’s vocals within subtly mesmerising strings and a bass-line driven groove to create a slightly subdued vibe, Kry Wolf deliver a tough, almost psychedelic UK reinterpretation that focuses on chopped, pitched-down vocals and alien bleeps. Last but not least, ‘Miss You’ convinces as a dreamy garage track and marks the end of an excellent EP. Love ain’t free!

Linas Strockis aka Few Nolder first emerged back in 2006 when Lithuanian label Partyzanai released his debut ‘Patterns EP’ a melting pot of black techno magic. This led to his next release ‘No Mo’ getting picked up by Mike Paradinas’ highly regarded Planet Mu and a debut self­titled album was soon to follow in 2009 to critical acclaim. His upcoming IF EP on Connaisseur Recordings has been bubbling under the surface for a while now. Check out the exclusive premiere of the title track here.

German duo Hanne & Lore already gained huge success with their debut EP Karma Supra including remix support by Tube & Berger last summer. Heading for the next season, the guys from Herford now impress with their second strike and two new originals from the Whatif EP. The title track sounds progressive and funky at the same time, Luna Square accentuates a more groovy nature with interesting samples. The rhetorical question is rather superfluous on Whatif, but definitely when. Our quick respond: here we go now!
