Over the past couple of years, Kellerkind’s unique interpretation of house music has truly catapulted him out of the figurative basement and into the limelight. Whether it was the disco-infused cool of ‘Backflash’ or the tribal rhythms found on his debut-album ‘Basement Story’, through hard work, rather than by miracle, Marco Biagini matured into a producer who is at the top of his game. With ‘Music is a Miracle’ Kellerkind now delivers a sophomore album that offers itself as a diverse and surprising love letter to music, carrying his distinct handwriting. This 12“ compiles two of the album’s highligts alongside three highcalibre remixes.

’I Know’ is trademark Kellerkind, as he treats us to filtered disco breaks, colourful chords and a smooth vocal hook, while ’Music is a Miracle’ presents a different style. Here, an extremely funky garage bass-line, Chicago strings and urgent trumpets surprise us as they drop after a Moodyman-esque monologue. Mantra-alert!	

The B-side is then dedicated to the remixes of ’I Know’. While the British heavyweights Leftwing & Kody bring the heat thanks to energetic dub chords and an urgent acid bass-line on their tasteful interpretation, Oliver Koletzki surprises with a rave-tastic old-school UK hardcore mix. Lastly, Murat Kilic focuses on jacking percussion and a rolling bass-line on his grooving version.

About the EP:
Easy and nice driving laid-back Deephouse with lots of harmony. Marco, who is known for his "Stand by me" Bootleg on Celestial Recording comes with 2 drifty songs you can go lost in. Inspired by music like Mira's sets (Bar25, Katermukke) he is definitely right with his music on Partina.
First Remix came from 'Sascha Kloeber' who got a lot of attention with his last Weltenwandler Remix - known from TV and DJ Sets. "High Above"! Sascha recorded some empathetic own vocals again to share big moments on the dancefloor with some goose bumps!
The other Remix from the second song came from Essen/Cologne located 'Janca'. Known from releases on Subspiele he presents lovely sounds on easy beats.

Blood and Bone is a reckoning set to rhythm—an album built where the body meets myth, where memory scrapes against metal, and survival grows teeth. Its sonic palette threads drum-machine pulse through dust-bitten guitars, twang through circuitry, and flamenco flicker through industrial grit. Every track lives in the tension between ruin and insistence, between a world that shakes with fire, violence, wind, and destiny, and a narrator who keeps stepping forward anyway. The project treats rhythm not as a backdrop but as a heartbeat you can almost hear splitting, mending, and refusing collapse.

Across this landscape, the human form is battered, unmasked, hunted, resurrected, and set ablaze—but never surrendered. The music leans into acoustic grain, the sweat-salt of live strings, the grit of surf twang and outlaw twine, yet plants those textures in a scaffold of relentless electronic precision. What emerges is a bruised hymn to endurance: techno carved out of earth, alt-country scorched into myth, psychobilly swagger sharpened by war and weather. Blood and Bone doesn’t seek redemption so much as it chronicles the cost of staying alive when the elements, the mountains, the inner voices, and the gods all stare back—and demand a response.

Continental’s own A&R and multi-tasking, all around vibe meister DJ drops his debut solo single ‘Yeah!’, the send off to his no-nonsense DJ Tools series on the label.

Pioneer of the Parisian electronic scene, long relocated to London, Jerry Bouthier joins passionately the dots between music and fashion. The resident dj of east London’s infamous and now defunct BoomBox night knows a good tune when he hears one as his Continental label’s output testifies. His celebrated dj mixes for Kitsuné, Emerald & Doreen and his own Heart & Soul series are captivating labours of love that have attracted followers the world over. His stylish upbeat dj sets, blending genres and everything else fancied by this iconoclast Frenchman, never fail to rock the party from one continent to another. 

Also a sound-designer for fashion, his post-modern soundtracks for Vivienne Westwood – seamlessly merging classical into world music, punk into cosmic disco and more - have become the stuff of legends. In the studio, he produces as JBAG - his baleariscopop project with Andrea Gorgerino - together they’ve released 4 singles (inc. tropical anthem ‘Mogadisco’) and remixed Two Door Cinema Club, RÜFÜS, Ladyhawke… however it’s now time for a new recording chapter.

Jerry explains why he’s never released a record under his own name before:
“I come from a band/group background and as long as I wasn’t producing tunes strictly on my own, it didn’t seem fair to the other musicians involved in the creative process with me. That’s why we started JBAG for instance, the contribution of my musical sidekick Andrea Gorgerino is huge, it wouldn’t have made sense to release our stuff as Jerry Bouthier…
With time I’ve acquired confidence and felt I could produce some decent DJ tunes on my own, the kind of funky, housey stuff I play in my sets, nothing as musical or song-led as JBAG – it wouldn’t be fun to do the same thing. The idea of delivering a series of DJ Tools soon came to me, you know simple yet effective tracks that work the dancefloor well without fuss…
So I locked myself in the studio with a pile of old vinyl and came up with ‘Yeah!’, my first attempt at going back to house basics, fusing the soulful vocals of yesterday’s NYC dancefloors to the more underground, bassline vibe of London.”

On the remix front Barcelona duo Mordisco, takes the deep house route with a sensual chugger that’ll work its wonders in the early hours. Next another duo, Tel Aviv’s B1ZB1Z, turns out a dreamy disco reinterpretation spiced-up by a zest of indie.

The boys are back….back with another banger too. Definitely the best little label doing the rounds around these parts of late. Vienna’s Luv Shack Records continue with the good groove venturing once again into suspenseful House and Disco.

This time the turn of LeSale to pull out the big thick juicy drums and chunky basslines for which Luv Shack is making a very respectful name for itself.Guaranteed heavyweight thump when you flop the needle to the left side every time with the Luv Shack.

Original mix of “We Go Straight Ahead” gets us off to the pristine start with a huge slice of modern Vienna Disco Funk. It’s tight, it’s tasty and the tempting vocal teases to the max.

Burnin Tears tear away some of the Funk but add the energy in a proper remix style for “We Go Straight Ahead”. The big trademark claps from the guys get the thing moving, and I mean moving. Style all the way too with textures and woven sound giving it the elegant tactile quality which is missing from so much of todays music.

B Side begins with “What You Get” in its original guise. Again, another thumping humping banger with a cheeky sample of something to tease the living daylights out of you and me! Nice prodding too of the synth aiding and abetting this classy little musical mood swinger. And what about that “little bell”? I definitely want that shit on my new bike.

And finally, Jakobin & Domino get a shot to remix “What You Get”. ‘Last but not least’ goes the saying. Or should we say ‘leave the best to last’? What a great remix from the J&D, flexing their musical muscles big time with some seriously deep House. Just turn off the feekin’ lights for this one and get totally lost and submerged. A deep serene, almost tranquil groove, I was just as comfortable listening to it lying down on a sofa, as I would be dancing upright like a nutcase at a club. Love it!
