Okay, this is a complicated one...
Back in 2006, Plushgrizzly from Aykaism.ch (now defunct) invited Jon H from Fort Knox Five to play a gig in Switzerland. He recorded the whole evening for a later broadcast on our common radiostation bigbeat.ch (now defunct). I'm not sure, we did ever play it, though... Not even sure if it was ever published in any way.
15 years later, I found this gem on my harddrive and played it during two episodes of my radioshow Eclectix, airing every Sunday, 6pm (cet), on evosonic.de.
First, I didn't want to upload it since I didn't know if it's okay with his friends and family over in DC, but after being asked by FK5 to upload it somewhere public, so they can share it with the world, I guess it is okay... ;)

For those not in the know: Jon H was 1/4 of Fort Knox Five, who died 6 years ago way to early in August 2015. He was an inspiration for way more people all around the world, than he could ever think of and I'm one of them. Thank you, Jon, for everything.

Eclectix 2022-01-16 (MIX ONLY!)

Once a year on April 1st, the one and only Walter Capri is visiting our studios for two hours of Schlager. This year, he was joined by his apprentice Benno Ballermann to present his journeyman's piece to the public.
Yeah, you might have guessed it: It's April Fools: Neither Walter nor Benno exist, but the music is real and to be honest: I kinda like it.. ;)
The idea was proposed and executed by friend and collegue Phil Harmony and this year, I got lucky posing as Benno Ballermann and adding my 30 minutes of High Speed Schlagerism.

Strongly inspired by the still legendary Schlager Mixes from Frieder D and Chrispop, I dug deep into my record crate for all those obscure, funny and sometimes cringe finds from car boot sales and whole lots, I do buy once in a while...
It was super fun and I wisch, I could do this more often, but then again, maybe you wish, I don't.. ;) :D

Evosonic Radio is a radio station from germany, first started back in 1997, when it was Europes first Electronic Music only station. After a short period via Astra 19.2 satellite, it was shut down in 1999, due to astronomic costs and, well, the 90ies.. ;)
Evosonic Radio was the reason, why I started doing radio shows in the first place and hosts and DJs like Mike S aka Chris Maico Schmidt were my role models for being a good host.
17 years later, I first met said Chris Maico Schmidt in person and just a few months later, on May 1st, 2017, we re-launched Evosonic as a web radio, boadcasting ever since on https://evosonic.de
This year, we celebrated our 26th anniversary with over 40 regular hosts and DJs, more than 50 shows and over 60 hours.
These are my 2 hours, I'm contributed to the marathon. It's 2 hours of full throttle from Breaks to Drum and Bass.
