The early 2000s saw Grym as one the premier drum & bass DJs in the Seattle circuit.
In 2004, Onset was born- a weekly DNB night establishing a staple in the Seattle underground. Running strong for almost 2 decades, Onset became an internationally renowned night and a required stop for international DNB talent. It was also the home base from which Grym showcased his darkside sound. Rinsing everything from dance floor to experimental, Grym became one of Seattle's most sought after figures in the bass community. Forging strong alliances and playing host to some of the most talented producers in the world, a label was formed as an outlet to the influx of unreleased music at his disposal. The Onset Audio imprint has developed into a successful digital label featuring some of the best international talent in the genre.

Bucharest Pressure w/ Brusten & Grym - 28th December 2022

The queen of DnB Riya and Visionobi made their appearances at Quite Lucky 001 on November 18 2022, and boy did they deliver a show. 

Riya's ability to switch from vulnerable to tough faster than you can rewind the drop, combined with Visionobi's takeover that was epic in proportions.

RIYA & VISIONOBI at Quite Lucky 001 / Club Guesthouse, Bucharest

Locked Concept's second drop of 2023 sees a return of Tellus to our Horizons release series.

The Horizons series looks to move away from the label's drum and bass roots, with the Loops EP as no exception. The four tracks range between 130 - 140 bpm and draw influence from across the spectrum of electronic music while still maintaining a signature Tellus sound.

It's not entirely fair to give Tellus full credit on this EP, as each track was started during a music production class at the high school he teaches at. Whether it was suggestions on which samples to use, recommendations on certain songs to draw influence from, input on the cover art, or simply the patience to sit through a tutorial on some component of producing, numerous high school students have had some form of influence or input on the creation of this four track EP.

The music of Bipolar is a testament to the beauty that can be found in simplicity. Drawing inspiration from the minimalist aesthetic of contemporary art and design, his music is marked by its sparse arrangements, muted tones, and melancholic mood, with an optimistic note to it.

Influenced by the deep, ambient, left-field, and dub sounds & noise, he creates immersive sonic landscapes that invite the listener to explore the depths of their own emotions. His music is characterised by a sense of longing and introspection, with delicate melodies and ethereal soundscapes that evoke a sense of nostalgia and loss. But despite the melancholic mood of their music, there is a quiet beauty to be found in its understated elegance.
