After the succesfull release of its’ first compiliation last year, MITSU2000 will hit the scene with a fundraiser VA on March, 12 2021. It will include 19 tracks from aspiring underground artists and newcomer artists that range from melodic breakbeat to fast & hard-hitting techno. All proceeds from the release will be donated to the children’s & youth palliative care center Johanniter-Kinderhaus Pusteblume in Burg, Germany.

BCCO Premiere: Stina Francina - Haven In A Heartless World [MITSUVA002]

In times of #Corona people have to keep touching each other without really physically touching each other, by staying #connected in their hearts and minds. This is possible and necessary in order to strengthen the cohesion within the population and to show #solidarity among each other. Through small gestures of attention, helpfulness, encouragement, contact, encouraging words and especially #sharing #music, we can help each other to overcome this unprecedented state of emergency and to remain an #inclusive and #supportive #community.

Our goal is to create a new #opportunity for #DJs from all over the world to share their music without borders and stay #connected #digitally. Moreover the artists will share their personal opinion about the #quarantine situation, explain how it affects them and how they try to deal with it.

Even if it is no longer possible for us to be together physically for an indefinite period of time and to live out our joy and love for music in #clubs and at #festivals, we can still #participate in each other’s lives through an online connection and stand this through together. Although states have #locked their #borders to each other, we shouldn’t create borders in our heads. Now is the time to get rid of all the borders in our minds and tear down the walls in our hearts - we’re in this #together.

A little bit about our team:
Many of you will know @pelinvds as one of the organisers of Harder and from working her magic behind the decks in Zurich, Basel and Berlin. Her taste in tunes has all the queers and their allies cheering, jumping on podiums and making a mess with their good-humoured, sweaty mayhem. 

Amedeo (@pulses) has been helping us in the background for a long time now and had his Harder debut as a DJ in September in Zürich, dishing out track after track of hard-edged rumbling techno. 

We're delighted with the diversity on here that highlights the many shades of the HARDER sound. It's a pleasure to introduce you not only to the music, but also the incredibly talented producers behind these awesome tunes. Remember to play them loud!

In our next episode, a well known face returns to MITSU2000. @Stinafrancina already contributed to our Various Artist Compilation in Summer 2021. She is a resident at the Swedish Label @streckgbg where she also celebrated her first vinyl release.
Her dark sound is strongly influenced by hard hitting industrial but also has a softer, more trancey side. She showed her talent twice at @hoerberlin and at several events, among others @Ismusberlin.

Starting the new year on a ravey note, Swedish DJ and producer Stina Francina shares a pummelling mix of techno sprinkled with bouncy trance for us. Learning her craft on the dancefloors of Gothenburg, Stina has since moved to Berlin, where she’s played Club OST, ÆDEN, Re:mise and many more. Armed with a versatile collection of industrial sounds to dreamy, trance-flavoured melodies, Stina approaches every set from a storytelling point of view, setting her apart on the Berlin circuit. But Stina has not forgotten her roots and regularly plays at home as a resident with the Swedish label, collective and event series @streckgbg. She’s a sick producer too, with releases on @ismusberlin, @carouseedinburgh, @mitsu2000 and HarderTrax. Turn her barrelling mix up loud to blow away the January cobwebs.
