Our deepest appreciation to all who will attend our Relocked Podcast #4, we have a very special guest for today's show. 

It is a very special 2 hours set from our guest Israel Vines. A veteran with nearly 20 years of DJing experience, LA-based Israel Vines brings a level of purpose, skill, and contextual awareness to mixing that only comes with time and passion.  Having spent his formative years as a DJ in both Detroit and Chicago, his roots are equally informed by underground dance music's two American capitals, as well as his deep love affair with the darker industrial and techno sounds from Europe and the UK.  In 2010, he started the Borrowed Language imprint as an outlet for his own music as well as that of like-minded producers.  The label has since garnered international recognition and its releases have been played and charted by the likes of Surgeon, Silent Servant, Donatto Dozzy, Peter Van Hoesen, Miles Whittaker of Demdike Stare, Milton Bradley, DJ Pete and BMG of Ectomorph.  Vines has also released on Cult Figures and done remix work for Makaton's Rodz-Konez imprint.  Fresh off of remixes for Erika and Stave, as well as a track contributed to Semantica's Nonnatives series, Israel is currently putting the finishing touches on a pair of EPs that will mark the inaugural releases on Eye Teeth, a brand new label from Detroit headed up by  BMG.  Israel's DJ sets run the gamut from deep and edgy techno to industrial and experimental and ambient sounds, connecting the dots with both fresh and classic material along the way. You have heard his productions and remixes, and today you shall have the opportunity to hear his track selection pulled specifically for the Relocked crew.. RELOCKED Podcast #4... feat. ISRAEL VINES + STINGRAYS

His relationship with music begins at an early age at school playing various instruments, showing great versatility (guitar and piano). His musical influences were marked by his parents and older brothers (mainly rock, metal and electronic).

In 2015 he decides to explore new musical facets, beginning his career as a DJ; In a short time he manages to play in several clubs and matches in his native country, Chile, receiving good reviews for his rudeness.

In 2019 he decides to go deeper and find his own sound, taking music production classes, it is in this context where he finds his sound identity, techno.

2020 marks a milestone in his short career, managing to sign his first track on the Assasin Soldier Recordings label; already in 2021 he begins to sign with major record labels such as Muted Recordings (Portugal), Selected Recordings (Spain), Newrythmics (Spain), Olympian (United States), receiving very good reviews and his music begins to be played by great exponents DJ's and producers from the scene such as: Marcell Dettmann, Adriana Lopez, Slam, DJ Nobu, Border One, Jeroen Search, Vertical Spectrum, A.Morgan, Michael Klein, Marco Faraone, 30drop, Stephanie Sykes, Kaiser, Arnaud Le Texier, Wata Igarashi, Quelza , DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, Jamaica suk, Pfirter, Joseph Capriati, among others.

In mid-2022 he is invited to the release date of the new ATOM TM album, being in charge of closing the evening.
