Completed April 2014. Specifically given a Logic X sounds limit, we had 48 hours to create our own soundtrack and sound design to an audiobook.

Filmic portfolio based on 'Transhumanism' narrative, in the style of EPIC soundtracks. MIDI heavy sounding. Completed in April 2014.

Transhumanism (Score Portfolio)

Completed April 2015. Using MIDI libraries, we were briefed on creating an alternate theme to Bear McCreary's "Da Vinci's Demons" theme. A hybrid mix of renaissance/medieval instrumentation with modern/industrial/electronic elements.

Library track, April 2014. In the style of Ministry of Sound Vol.1 chill-out music. Confined to MIDI sounds.

Crystal Edge (Chill-out)

This piece is created from entirely self-recorded sound sources, these being: stomping in mud, opening a rust gate, throwing stones in water, the flow of a wintery stream and a crow's call. The concept behind the piece was to emulate the experience of when you find and imagine rhythm and music from everyday scenarios, such as walking. Look out for the crow solo!

Foundsound (2014)

This excerpt is the ending two a much longer piece which focuses upon 3 years of personal self-development and exploration. The piece begins and ends with a 4/4 kick, as to create an endless cycle.

'Ending' (2014)

This soundscape focuses upon sonic discoveries in various abandoned environments in order to emphasise that everything we humans have created is temporary, and that mother nature shall always have the 'final say'. Recorded locations include abandoned factories, the ruins of an Abbey and a beach where houses once previously stood, before being destroyed in a stormy high tide. The soundscape additionally focuses in upon hidden 'micro' sonic details of each environments as the piece progresses.

This track was commissioned to emphasise different frequencies that the body can hear and feel. The sonic inspiration of the track was taken from the sounds heard from within the womb of a mother.
