Jesse Somfay's debut output as Borealis has been the artistic backbone of our label's birth 3 years ago while his sophomore album released last month is a good indicator of our eclectic expansion and overall shift in sound. While Voidness has generated more than 50 remixes (of which 38 saw a release this summer), Glittervoice only brought a handful of reworks to life.

After recently scoring the music for Juno Mak’s Number 1 Chinese Box Office Hit ‘Rigor Mortis’ and winning a prestigious Chinese Media Award for his work, electronic songwriter/producer Nate Connelly will release the first single from his new album ‘Di Skyver’ on 25th May 2015 via Blind Colour. 

‘7842 Fire’ is an un-categorisable slice of hi-tech, futuristic electro that showcases a more electronic direction for this growing artist.

The first remix comes from Throwing Snow (Houndstooth/Black Acre) who has recently received regular BBC Radio 1 airplay from the likes of Fourtet and Jamie XX whilst touring Europe with Portico Quartet (Ninja Tune) and promoting the second album from his band Snow Ghosts. The second remix comes from Brighton’s AOTOA who has previously recorded under various monikor’s for the Tru Thoughts label and has a new album out soon on Jalapeno Records.

Spun from a strong friendship and musical connection, this split album brings together Nocow and Hmot,otherwise separated by more than 5000km. 

Nocow reaches new heights in terms of novelty and emotional impact while Hmot makes a proper debut after his feature on Dark Clover's OS Volume 1 showcasing an unforeseen blend of haunting and soothing sounds that might as well become his trademark. 

The 19-tracks journey comes out (as everything else) on a free/name your price basis June 1st. The video trailer and two official videos will surface in the meantime, keep an eye out for them.
