Ruffneck Prime drops two heavyweight acid monsters on the Absolete imprint.

Both tracks feature a completely different approach to the genre and will fit in any Acid or Acid techno set without any problems.

The main tune of the release 'We are the acid' clearly shows the man's love for this music in many ways. The incredibly uplifting vibe with a crazy driven acid baseline shows that Ruffneck Prime is on a mission with this anthem. Also for this track, an absolutely CRAZY insane pure acid video puts the proverbial icing on the cake.

'Chasm of silence' is an eerie dark tune taking the listener to forgotten pits filled with shadows of despair, towards the eternal halls of damnation. Illustrated with the upcoming video clip, which has been specifically created for the tune. This one is for the filthy sets!

After the first successful release at the Absolete imprint which was played many times by the likes of Remco Beekwilder, Paula Temple, DOmenico Crisci, SNTS, Psytox, Clouds, Esther Dune, and more; Ruffneck Prime returns with this second 12 inch.

This time on yellow vinyl featuring 2 hammering tunes that'll wake the dead! "The Mourning After" is a gritty tune with fierce baselines on top of a pounding kick combined with very uplifting groove patterns. The moment the tune goes into the break you just feel the tension building up into a big apocalyptic apotheosis. Bombs away!

Than there's the flip side called "Motion sickness" This minimalistic track is from a whole different order. "Music for HUGE halls"; would pretty much describe, what the purpose is of this track. A sick metal scraping sound which causes motion sickness in some persons. This is absolutely the right title for this fantastic dark & creepy track.

Accompanied by an intense square loud kick drum; this is a very recognizable distinctive dark underground tekno banger!

The HEX series explores the more clean side of the spectrum with a common denominator called acid influenced elements in all it’s possible forms.

BPM, structure, form, styles can and will all be switched up held together by that wobbly origin called acid 🙂

The HEX series (based on the hexagons as you can see in the design) come in a clear plastic outer sleeve with a big double-sided printed thick inlay card where the information about the record can be viewed.
The records itself are all clear/silver mixed so every record is unique in its own way.

The first release by Ruffneck Prime features 4 different approaches to the genre ranging from Trance influenced acid techno to Electro and anything in between with the most RAW of the 4 tracks on the B1 which is dark and unwelcoming.
The perfect opening record to start with broken beats going into a raw 4/4 frenzy later on.

After the very successful ABS 004 Ep, Ruffneck Prime returns with the second installment of the so-called HEX series on the Absolete imprint.

This VINYL release features 4 tracks all with a different vibe.

The A1 made by Ruffneck Prime & STLTH focusses more on the trance side of the acid techno spectrum with a very hypnotic melody line with a twist here and there.

Ruffneck Prime also remixed one of his own (Originally hardcore) tracks made under his DJ Ruffneck moniker.
The gabber tune was carefully ported over to a hard techno version!

Then on the B1 side, we find a solid collaboration with Tresor resident Esther Duijn.
Deep kicks combined with a raw acid line are keywords for this fine tune.

The B2 side truly shows the more dark side of Ruffneck Prime and his love for broken beats as this tune is dark, grimly, and aimed towards the pits!
Icons of destruction shows Ruffneck Prime's love for artists like Headless horsemen, Ancient Methods, and the likes.

All in all once again a VERY solid 12 Inch release!

I was asked to remix a song made by a rock band and I intended to create only 1 remix...but as certain things sometimes do seem to get out of hand as I'm simply too creative ...I actually ended up making FIVE different approaches to this (Originally pure rock) song ...LOL.

4 of them are now released on a special limited edition vinyl (150 copies - no repress) on the ABSOLETE label : ABS SP 002

Płatek Sniegu, the polish name for snowflake is not the usual acid techno tune as it goes beyond the borders of musical freedom in all its facets.

Ruffneck Prime this time takes the listener on a hypnotic trip through snowballed landscapes, riding on deep emotions with its vast pallet of pads and carefully chosen minibreaks, soundscapes, and a very subtle acid. This one sneaks up on you without noticing it at first glance until you are actually already deeply riding the wave!

Płatek Sniegu tells a thousand stories without actually saying one word. The tune is one of those hidden gems which touches the soul and fits any techno or acid set, leaving behind a deep impression to anyone who hears it.

On the flip side of this limited edition vinyl, we find “Time will tell”. This tune is completely on the other side of the spectrum.

Ruffneck prime created a very uplifting, raw acid core track with a massive break. The moment this break drops, it’s ON!

Solid kicks and a high energy drive in both percussion and 303 sounds make this a weapon of choice to keep every set on full throttle!
