The thirteenth edition of Berlin's DESSERT series sees the much-anticipated return of Bertolt Meyer, who first chose the label as the platform to share his debut release with the world for the label's 1st release. Where Did The Day Go has Meyer returning to the infectiously emotive melodic techno stylings which saw his first release so warmly received.

Bertolt Meyer first rose to prominence after his home videos demonstrating his unique modular setup went viral. Meyer was born without a left forearm, and has hacked a prosthetic to control certain parameters of his modular setup using his mind. His setup and approach are truly unique, and he is an artist at the very frontier of the innovative intersection of music and technology.

Following in the footsteps of his assured debut release, Where Did The Day Go gathers the most potent elements of his debut and packs them into a striding dancefloor weapon. The pairing of wistful spoken vocals and melancholic synth melody seems to draw from the darker side of 80s pop culture, wrapped and chiselled into the frameworks of contemporary techno.

Tension is expertly controlled and crafted as the track streams forward - Where Did The Day Go is sure to provide moments of heads down euphoria when deployed at the right time.
