The music of TØBI is a love letter to Science Fiction, 80’s Horror Films and Synth Pop. His debut album “Distress Signals” is a 38 minute (Instrumental/Electro Rock/Synthwave) journey; taking inspiration from many classic films and acclaimed artists including Alien, The Thing, Blade Runner, Tears For Fears and John Carpenter. TØBI earned his first taste of musical success as lead guitarist and founder of Nashville based Rock group The Nearly Deads. Now, driven by a desire to continually create and a love for all things sci-fi, the concept of this passion project was conceived.
