Stöfunk aka Markus Röpert was born the 4th of january 1985 and since then he is living in Germany, in one of the techno capitals nower days, in Oberhausen. With the age of 12 his development into the electronic music area was already totally clear. When he was 28 years old the time has come to buy his first equipment. Finally he could plan and play his own sets.Three months later he found his individual way how to mix his music. Since then he was working permanently, improving his mixing skills. Today he plays usually on 4 decks. After one year training his first live appearance has been succesfully realized in Germany, Düsseldorf. Highly professional. Searching for the place where he is home in the fields of electronic music, he pased a huge range of styles in the scenery. He experienced hardcore, minimal, trance and rave, finally finding himself in the underground techno niche. His sets consist of acid, banging techno, dark & industrial techno. He defines his sound himself like „gutter techno - passionate and different

Der 1985 zwischen Frankfurt und Fulda geborene Hesse hat im Aufwachsen der 90er Jahre seine Interesse zur elektronischen Musik entdeckt und ist Ihr seit dem Alter von 13 Jahren komplett ergeben.
Mit 14 entschied er sich dazu, das DJing zu erlernen, was er im Laufe der Jahre manifestierte und sich mehr und mehr in die Welt der elektronischen Musik verliebte.
Seit jeher steht sein Name für treibenden, schnellen, progressiven und harten Techno.
Das kann man seinen Sets und Mixen, die aus Techno, Acid, Schranz oder Hardtechno bestehen auch bestens entnehmen.
Ebenfalls kreiert er gerne Sets, die aus den Klängen seiner Anfangszeit (2000er) bestehen, vielen auch unter "Techno der guten alten Zeiten" bekannt.
Über die Jahre hatte er Pseudonymen wie "The Electronic Violence" oder auch "Schranzmaschine", unter welchen er einigen noch bekannt ist, allerdings zieht er es hauptsächlich nur noch vor, unter seinem bürgerlichen Namen Musik zu machen.
Neben seiner Liebe zur Musik selbst legt er ebenfalls grosses Augenmerk auf die Werte der Szene.
Er unterstützt und supportet Künstler, die zum Erhalt dieser Welt beitragen und versucht den Zusammenhalt der grossen Techno-Familie zu stärken.
Genauso wichtig wie das Musik machen ist Ihm aber natürlich auch das Musik hören.
Vor allem dabei auch von den Menschen, die in etwa diesselbe Liebe zur Musik aufweisen, wie er selbst.
Für Ihn ist Techno einfach viel mehr, als nur eine Musikrichtung und das wird, wie er selbst gerne sagt, auch für immer so sein.
Sein neuster Leitspruch "Techno will always be my Destiny" beinhaltet neben dem wahrheitsgemässen Spruch über Ihn selbst auch das Projekt einer Set-Reihe, die er kontinuierlich mixen und auf seiner Seite veröffentlichen wird und allen Techno-Liebhabern seines Sounds in Form eines gratis Downloads zur Verfügung stellt.
Generell wird es künftig wieder mehr von Ihm zu hören geben, da er sich auch wieder mehr dem Produzieren zuwenden möchte.
