My name is Stoic.
I am a producer, dj, son, brother, husband, father, Christian, who is extremely good looking.
So good looking in fact ,I've been known to blow amps at parties just by standing too close. Seriously.
I used to go by the name Funky D but now I am Stoic, or , the artist formally known as Funky D, which in hindsight is a bit of a mouthful for some of the less talented mc's out there. I love dnb, started dj'ing at the age of 12 when my brother brought home peeni porni by m-beat ( I had found my first love). Things moved up a gear when I was old enough to go raving (14) and I could shock out to all the tracks I had spent hours mixing at home. Word got around that I was the next grooverider and the rest is history. My next love was borne from spreadlove @ the gass club on Sunday nights with Dominic and cred da da da creed on the mic. I'd heard about this house and garage malarkey but had been too busy getting mugged in the jungle room to show it much attention. Now I was a lot more older and mature (16) I needed a more sofisticated genre and boy did I find it. The first tune I heard when I walked in was by Celine dion, calm down, calm down just hear me out, if you haven't heard mk's mix of misled then "you are seriously misled". The rest of the night was filled with the best music and vibe I have ever heard - tonight tonight tonight - its getting hot in here- now your missing me I'm jumping up for joy- I've changed - to name but a few. 
I am stoic and I love music.
