Franzi and David, aka stolz & trauzettel, began DJing together in 2016 and are part of the About bridges not walls collective: https://www.facebook.com/aboutbridgesnotwalls/ .

Together both play house and were happy to be invited to parties in Berlin’s  ://about blank, Fusion festival, and Hamburg’s Golden Pudel. 

When not DJing as a duo, Franzi plays warm house music as Vilma https://soundcloud.com/v_i_l_m_a  and David plays techno as BKMN https://soundcloud.com/bkmn_music . 

Last, but not least, 
Franzi and friends of hers organize a newly formed FLINTA_ collective called FORWARD to create collective room for networking, exchange, empowerment about and within music, arts, culture – for and by FLINTA_ persons.

Last, both love and miss blank, STAUB, the garden and the tulips and everything about it.

🗯🗯 How Did Corona change your artist life? 🗯🗯

Music is freedom. Since the beginning of the pandemic I believe we all might sometimes feel trapped in a world that seems to create more questions than answers. For me, as an artist, these sensations of entrapment have on one side recreated the research of freedom and its mean and on other side the notions of responsibility and awareness. Being a black artist awoken in me the need to claim the place of the black community in the electronic dance music scene. The same scene that, many times unaware and ignorant, stigmatises, discriminates and frustrates so many of us black ravers, party-goers, dancers, and producers.

🗯🗯 Where did you record the mix and how did you feel? 🗯🗯

I created this podcast at home empowering fellow black producers and remixers on a dance journey traveling from house, deep or tech to techno and electro. Keeping my own deep-notic touch and unstoppable groove.

🗯🗯 What are your wishes for the time after Corona? 🗯🗯

Dance as a tool and a reminder of where we come from and where do we actually want to go. Dance as an answer to this world that seems committed to live in fear, frustration and questioning.

In der 18. Ausgabe der techno.show auf coloRadio wird Mila Stern berichten, warum DJs und andere Künstler*innen derzeit einen ziemlich dicken Panzer brauchen. So versuchen wir zu erkunden über was sich Musiker*innen im Jahr 2020 eigentlich noch freuen können und haben es dabei nicht immer einfach. Dabei könnte es selbst in Zeiten der Pandemie irgendwie erträglich sein, wenn wir, wie Mila Stern in der Sendung vorschlägt, über die richtigen Fragen diskutieren würden.

Musikalisch wird die Sendung begleitet von einem Mitschnitt eines bisher unveröffentlichten Sets von Mila Stern aus dem Kulturgarten des Objekt Klein A vom 07. August 2020.
