This mix is dedicated to the vibe of Sunday Afternoon.  Whether you’re kickin back and relaxin, out getting your adventure on, taking a Sunday cruise or just rejuvenating from a wild weekend - this is your soundtrack.  

The songs in this are some of my all-time favorites and it was really fun and challenging doing something a bit different.  There are no originals of mine in here and I didn’t play any trumpet as I’m no longer playing trumpet.  That being said I tried to bring something fresh and unique while still dropping in some throwback gems.  About 100+ hours went into putting this together, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

So this mix is years overdue... As a DJ who started out playing strictly DnB I used to have a secret hate on for house music. House was always a dirty word in my vocabulary but over the years, especially during the pandemic I started to dig it more and more. My doctor said there was nothing wrong with me, it's perfectly normal to like house music.😅 I'm no aficionado but, for a while, I've wanted to put together a bunch of my favorite housey & garagey tunes. Back To The Future Remix

2 years later,  Its still hard to believe that our friend Pumpkin is gone.  I had DJ'd a show with Nicholas in San Fransisco just 1 week before the accident and I'll never forget the morning I woke up to the news of his passing.  I instantly felt the hearts of so many being shattered including my own.  Since that time all I have felt is those shattered hearts come together and become stronger as Nicks legacy, music, and love lives on with us everyday.

Pumpkin will always be one of my favorite DJ's with his impeccable taste and the ability to touch the hearts of everyone on the dance floor thru music. This tribute mix was recorded following his Celebration of Life on Monday April 4th, 2016 and shared with some of Nicks closest friends at the Boogaloo Crew HQ in Los Angeles <3

This week we’re very happy to welcome our good pals, All Good Funk Alliance (aka Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek), back to The Armory. This is their set as recorded live from the famed Life Boat Halloween in San Francisco this year. Enjoy! 

Made up of Frank Cueto and Rusty Belicek, the All Good Funk Alliance has opened up for legendary artists and DJs, written songs for commercials , T.V. and movies and constantly appear on the Breakspoll Top 50 list. In other words, these guys are no strangers to the funk. And while their musical tastes range the gamut, when Frank and Rusty join forces the end result is always the same: they deliver a sound that is funky, fun and fresh. 

All Good Funk Alliance has long been lauded by critics and fans alike, and DJs looking to inject flavor into their sets invariably seek out that unmistakable AGFA sound. Their remix of big band legend Woody Herman's track, "Mambo Herd," was met with critical acclaim, and the boys recently signed a major remix deal to put their indelible, funk-infused spin on Kraak and Smaak's hit album “Plastic People."
