Landing all good digital stores on 2nd February is the new single from John Dahlback, who has teamed up with fellow Swede Albin Myers on ‘Breaking Your Locks.’ The pair, who has previously worked together under the catchy artist name “Myback” for this single, is to release the track on Dahlback’s Mutants Records. 

It takes on a quirky theme upon introduction, with funky house style vocal snatches and a toe-tapping beat. Vocals suddenly swoop into action, their clarity adding some emotive texture to the growing beat below. Rising and falling in all the right places, it features stunning vocals from Olivera and sees both producers venturing into previously unexplored territories. 

Dahlback himself says of ‘Breaking Your Locks’, “Myback was something Albin Myers and I created a while back, a project just for fun. It’s now been a few years since we did music together, so we decided to try it again. ‘Breaking Your Locks’ is our first track since then, and it’s a completely new style for Albin and I. We are both very eager for this one!” 

With the single set to turn plenty of heads this month, perhaps Albin Myers sums up the collaboration the best: “Do you remember house? Myback does.”
