This was a track that I had so much fun with. Making this song brought me out of a musical funk (literally) I was in, and it's the first track I thought sounded better as an instrumental. I had fun adding different parts and making it a musical story.

Electro Conejo

The dazzling light of the first days of June. On my side of the world, in the Northern Hemisphere, June is a happy month, when nature is at its maximum splendor, with its flowers and colors, its lush life, its light. The days are longer, the climate is mild and people are happier, with more desire to go out, inebriated with so much wonder, for the beginning of summer.
Thanks to my dear inestimable friend @Rosindust for her performance at violin. The counterpoints are from my new cello! Some parts were too low for the violin so I took the plunge and used the cello I bought a few months ago when, in a moment of extreme optimism, I thought it would be easier to play it.. :)

dans le recueil "à la lumière d'hiver", Philippe Jacottet, cet immense poète, a écrit un poème en 8 versets sur la parole, essence même du poétique. J'ai tenté ici d'en mettre deux en musique.

J’aurai voulu parler sans images, simplement
pousser la porte…
                                        J’ai trop de crainte
 pour cela, d’inquiétude, parfois de pitié
On ne vit pas longtemps comme les oiseaux
dans l’évidence du ciel,
                                                  et retombé à terre,
On ne voit plus en eux précisément que des images
ou des rêves.

Parler donc est difficile, si c’est chercher…chercher quoi ?
Une fidélité aux seuls moments, aux seules choses
qui descendent en nous assez bas, qui se dérobent,
si c’est tresser un vague abri pour une proie insaisissable.

Si c’est porter un masque plus vrai que son visage
pour pouvoir célébrer une fête longtemps perdue
 avec les autres, qui sont morts, lointains ou endormis
encore, et qu’à peine soulèvent de leur couche 
cette rumeur, ces premiers pas trébuchants, ces feux timides
-nos paroles : 
bruissement du tambour pour peu que l’effleure le doigt
inconnu.

 with the others, who are dead, far away or asleep
and which scarcely rise from their bed 
this rumor, these first stumbling steps, these timid fires

rustling of the drum as soon as the unknown finger
 touches it
