Through thick and thin, everyone needs those whom they can count on. As in life, the music can get dark and then the light shines through, as we rise to go on with the help of our friends and loved ones.

As you may notice, the cover art harkens back to a familiar cover from 1973 and that is intentional, because Andrea and Rebecca are strongly influenced by music from that time period. Many fans of 8000 Miles’ first album, Aggregate, have remarked on that influence. The title Crystal Confetti represents the clarity 8000 Miles is honing in their duo’s style and the contrast of weighted moods and flying inspirations.

Everyone has their own take on things and that can cause uncomfortable feelings between people. So, consider in those times, when it might be appropriate to not claim that you are “right”. Let it go. Compromise. Choose peace. After all, being right is usually just an opinion. Yes? Think: I don’t have to be right.

"For The Blood, Not The Tears" is the third album by Jeremias Langsämmer and features modern works for strings and piano. This piece features a guest performance and additional composition by JJ Köenig.

The Grace To Forget by Jeremias Langsämmer & JJ Köenig

The Welton Shipwreck is a UK-based rock duo made up of Stu Head and John Culkin. Formed at the start of the 2020 pandemic lockdown period, their songs are written and recorded by means of long-distance collaboration from their homes in Scotland and Yorkshire. The music they make combines elements of shoegaze, post rock, folk and psychedelic.

Stu and John are old friends of over 20 years. Both originally from the Greater Manchester area, they met at university in Leeds in 2000. The band name refers to a street they lived on as students.

Both Stu and John sing, play guitar, bass, keyboards and drums across their various tracks (along with a few less conventional instruments.) They mix and produce all of their own music.
