Pink Noise Live Sets

Since the early '80s, Luis Rozalén, better known as @hd-substance, has been immersed in the pulsating world of electronic beats. Co-founding Ballet Mecánico, he transitioned from synth-pop to darker tones until techno music captured his passion, prompting him to embark on a solo career. It was by then that he released his debut album, "Eleven," on Elefant Records, making a significant impact on the Spanish techno scene.  With over two decades of influence in the industry as a multifaceted artist — DJ, writer, composer, remixer, and live performer — and an extensive repertoire of more than 30 EPs and six albums, HD Substance stands as a key figure in the history of Spanish electronic music. Hence, it's a great pleasure to welcome him on board with this N2MU Podcast. Enjoy it!

Diapasøn, a passionate and versatile artist, has shown a deep interest in music and playing instruments of all kinds since a young age. It was in 2012 that he fully immersed himself in the world of electronic music, a means for him to fully express his passion for contemporary influences.

In 2015, he founded Cosmic Wave, initially as a collective, quickly evolving into a label which he has co-managed since 2017. A lover of vinyl, he crafts a unique sonic universe, navigating between ambient and psychedelic techno. His captivating music creates soundscapes filled with emotion and entrancing textures.

Since his debut on stage, Diapasøn has had the opportunity to play alongside many artists such as Claudio PRC, Christian Wünsch, Deniro, Benjamin Damage, Skudge, Blazej Malinowski, Polygonia, Lenson, and many others. All these performances have inspired him and contributed to shaping his artistic identity.

This is the record of my set in Tresor. Thanks to @estherduijn for inviting me over to this magic place (x)! It was a wonderful night, with lots of good vibes and I felt so connected to the crowd. 

Maybe people are wondering who I am and what I do with all these different music styles.. but in the end, it doesn't really matter and it is OK to find yourself in all these different styles :-). Hopefully you will recognize my taste and catch the story within each set and I hope you enjoy it!
