Songs that I have designed, performed and recorded on hardware. They were all built from scratch, largely conceived in several sessions, and recorded with improvisational layers. These are not created fully in real time as many loopers do. I distinguish the difference out of respect for that craft. I will be getting to fully live improvisational creations in which no input existed prior to recording, but for now, enjoy these! Many more to come! Feedback appreciated! 🙂

Hardware Performances

Omniverts display traits of both introversion and extroversion, often in extreme and random swings. Most people are ambiverts, blending the two in real time, all the time. Second most common are omniverts. We experience a constant switch between realms, sometimes at random. If you find yourself enjoying a party and then suddenly not enjoying all the noise and company, you are likely an omnivert as well. This track colors in the psychology of a night in the life of an omnivert, moving between immersive dance vibes and introspection.

This song was initially created on my usual hardware setup: Novation Circuit Rhythm & Tracks for MIDI sequencing, filters and FX, Boss RC-505 mainly for filter here, Arturia MicroFreak for synth arp, and my Zoom LiveTrak L-8 mixer, which is more important in my hardware setup than one might imagine, so I still list it.

This one experienced a bit more polishing "in the box" than my other looping jams, but it still looks hours of hardware tinkering, so it made the list.
