You are worthy of all the love and respect and trust and kindness. i think the spookiness you feel emanating from you is maybe partly a darkness that we all carry, really, but also maybe your complexity and courage and intelligence that others make you feel is spookiness but in reality it is just them being afraid of the intensity of those things. I think you are bored too.. and maybe that is partly why this correspondence with him was attractive in a way. I am also so so bored. I realized I've lived most of my life existing mainly in a realm of fantasy, like constant escapism. Survival through fantasy. 

I also find comfort in the melancholy and sadness of artists and writers that I admire.. i think it has something to do with feeling less alone in those feelings. maybe a big thing we are supposed to do is find ways to feel less alone, i guess that is what I want art and writing to do for me, and for others. 

i too need to find ways to stop being self destructive, i am in so many ways. Little acts of love always make me feel better but are also something so painful to make happen and they often end up making me feel so torn apart in the process, i guess just because it puts me face to face with how much of a mess i am. 

i know exactly how you feel about the dystopian feeling of feeling fucked up in a lush and beautiful place. like my cuba trip when i was 18 and couldnt eat or sleep or breathe. hope the warmth at least is seeping in a little bit.
